@RabbiHarvey Muslims were forced after 9-11 to “prove” they were good citizens and not a threat to Americans. So, if they had to do it, Christians—especially #Evangelical ones—should have to do it too, Christians of all backgrounds must decry #fundamentalism and #Christofascism .

Palestine should be free. Palestine should not be ruled by Hamas. Hamas needs to answer for its crimes on 10/7. The IDF needs to answer for its crimes since. Israel has a right to exist. Israel and Palestine should equitably split the land. Geopolitics is complicated.

What is the difference between a conservative and a fundamentalist? A conservative is traditional Christian and who has conservative attitudes toward faith and practice. They want to believe as they wish, but they generally will leave you alone.

As much as we’d like to blame Fox News post-2016 for the destruction of conservative brains and consciences, the real culprit was talk radio—particularly after 9-11—that started the nationalist, paranoia propaganda.

Am I the only one still struggling to move on from the pandemic? It feels like a lot of society has decided to join the gaslighting about how less serious Covid still is, and fewer and fewer care about trying to mitigate it. Long Covid scares the shit out of me.

A fundamentalist has similar or often more extreme beliefs. Their goal is to either convert you through guilt or by fear/force. They want you to praise them while they do it, and call it good. They will not, nor can they, leave you in peace.
