Last week we out fought Chelsea, this week we out thought Brighton. Taking nothing away from the Seagulls, they are a good side but we demonstrated counter attacking at it's very best. I still can't get over that first touch by Bowen for the secondd goal. Incredible!
I've sent an appeal to Twitter regarding the warning issued on my pinned tweet saying it might contain sensitive content. It's just a picture of the the team after winning the ECWC in 1965, with a tweet saying "Our Greatest Night." What's sensitive or offensive about that?
This is my favourite result of the whole season. It should have been three. No sympathy for Declan Rice, serves him right for taking a step down by leaving us!
Difficult game on Sunday. We know Arsenal are a great side but they are beatable. Everton showed that at Goodison Park and what Everton can do on their ground we can do on ours.
I left the ground so angry. I knew it would be a hard game as Newcastle are a very good side but the fact is they didn't need to be! We presented them with at least three of their goals. The third was the killer just 20 seconds after the break. Shambolic defending!
We earned our interval lead and if Newcastle had been reduced to ten men as they should have, I doubt they would have scored their two dubious goals. We salvaged a deserved point but I felt it could have been three if not for one of the worst refereeing displays I've ever seen.
Tottenham won at Brighton in their last match but statistics show they tend to lose every other game. We always beat them when it matters so I feel optimistic.
Great goal by Bowen but then we just stopped playing, sat back and soaked up unnecessary pressure. The equaliser was inevitable and if there was to be a winner then there was only one team going to get it.
We responded well to going two goals down after only 10 minutes and we really got Arsenal rattled. After our equaliser I honestly thought we would go on to win. Great performance against a top side!
On this day in 1966, West Bromwich Albion were the visitors to the Boleyn Ground. West Ham won 4-0 with goals by Geoff Hurst (2), John Sissons and Martin Peters.
Away to Brighton Saturday. They were excellent at Wolves last week and we have an awful record against them home and away. However, we have to break the Seagulls jinx eventually so why not on Saturday? I strongly believe we will get a result.
What a game at Molineux! Two down at half time, Leeds looked dead and buried but after Jimenez of Wolves was red carded they competely turned it around to win 3-2. They did us a big favour in the process as a Wolves win would have taken them above us.
This was counter attacking and clinical finishing at it's very best. Great performance and result and a clean sheet against a team who have scored in their previous 15 consecutive league games. Wolves must wonder why they come to the London Stadium. They never even score here.
In view of the fact that we didn't play particularly well and avoided a penalty decision which could have resulted in a straight red card for Tomas Soucek, I'm pleased with the result.
On this day in 1972 Tottenham Hotspur visited the Boelyn Ground hoping to avenge a 1-0 defeat by West Ham at White Hart Lane earlier in the season when Clyde Best scored the winner. A superb goal by Trevor Brooking and another by Ade Coker gave the Irons a 2-0 win.
I predicted the correct score for once and a V.A.R. decision went in our favour for a change. Three massive away points for us and I felt we deserved them for our second half performance.
Great comeback. We are definately a better side this season. Apart from this game we have salvaged points against Newcastle and Brentford at home after trailing, not to mention the win at Brighton. These are games which we would probably have lost ast season.
I'm disappointed with the result because I felt it was a game we could have won. In the second half I thought we gave them too much respect and consequently unnecessary posession. It seemed we were more concerned about not losing than winning the game.
Credit to Fulham, they are on a bit of a roll right now, however, I think we could have taken a few risks and perhaps made the scoreline a little more respectable. We just have to put this behind us and move on.
Saturday
Arsenal 2 Nottingham Forest 0
Bournemouth 1 West Ham United 3
Brighton 3 Luton 0
Everton 2 Fulham 2
Sheffield United 0 Crystal Palace 0
Newcastle United 2 Aston Villa 1
I can't believe Jarod Bowen received a yellow card for simulation. There was a plenty of gamesmanship out there but not from anyone wearing claret and blue.
What annoys me about David Moyes is he always substitutes like for like. When you are losing 1-0 why not throw caution to the wind and take off a defender and bring on Scamacca to play alongside Antonio? You risk conceding another goal but you have a better chance of equalizing.
We gave away a cheap corner which led to their goal which I felt Areola was at fault for. Villa could have been three up before we were awarded the penalty. After we equalized there was an improvement in our play and I thought we might win it but it wasn't to be. So we move on!
Entertaining game for the neutral. Disappointing we let slip a 2-1 interval lead. That's three consecutive Premier League defeats, we didn't play badly but we have to start picking up some points.

I intended to leave five minutes before the end, however I had to know the result so I stayed until the final whistle. My heart missed a beat at the end when I thought Rodrigo scored the winner but it was a fantastic save by Fabianski. Thrilling game and a point gained.

Before the match I predicted we would lose 0-1. I saw the way Everton played at Liverpool last week and they were very diffucult to breakown, plus the fact we had that game at OlympIakos Thursday.
A vital win for us against an Aston Villa side who have been on very good form of late. We missed a couple of chances but two superb goals clinched it. I thought the final score flattered Villa.
I wasn't overly surprised by the result, although we had our chances. Emerson had an opportunity to equalize moments before Garnacho scored their second. He had another decent chance to score shortly afterwards as did Bowen. Anyway, we move on.
