Day 30 Reviewing the famous N Queens problem. You can see the leetcode inflation because they have it labeled "hard" when very similar problems are now only "medium"

Day 29 I'm asking chatGPT to write some code for me and I'm not at all impressed by the output on difficult questions. Do I have to use a specific model or something? Why was everyone going nuts over this? 🤔

Day 40 Spending some time with the app router in nextjs... I read the docs last year but never upgraded my project because it felt unstable and the error messages weren't useful. Still kinda feels that way but I imagine page router support is on limited time

Day 26 Reading up on the python ecosystem. I want to follow along with a machine learning book but I don't really know python 🤷♀️

Day 50 Half way to 100! I'm realizing I can no longer watch code tutorials... my attention span just rejects them entirely even if its new material.

Day 41 I hate palindromes. I don't care about palindromes. Stop creating palindrome questions. No one cares about palindromes.

Day 46 Used chatgpt to write a function to parse mathjax out of strings of text! First real chatgpt win for me, saved me probably 20 minutes 😎

Day 47 Am I wrong in thinking literally no one likes these badges? They are ugly, easy to fake and should be removed. Especially since they're backdated. I don't like that my crappy pull requests from 8 years ago are now highlighted on my profile.

Day 20 Experimenting with different AI tools for coding... I don't quite get the hype. Seems a lot of people don't like copilot autocomplete either and turn it off. 🤷♀️

Day 28 Learning that the javascript ecosystem isn't that bad compared to python. venv, virtualenv, pipenv, conda, poetry are all different tools that do slightly different variations of the same thing... seems like a dumpster fire 🗑️🔥

Day 48 Using chatgpt to convert some java to python... seems to work well up to around 60ish lines of code at a time. More than that and it misses whole methods/arguments.

Day 10 Took me way longer than expected to set up mysql on a digitalocean server. Seems having a dollar sign in your password in an .env file can cause chaos... 😕

Nextjs is a framework for react that has optimizations like server side rendering and static generation. You can also set up json endpoints and handle things in the standard nodejs way so it's somewhat flexible.

Exactly, I spent as much time writing english descriptions of what I wanted as I would have just writing the code. I see the potential but it's not even close at this point.
