There are three great heretics in the Book of Mormon, each of whom serve to warn us of types of modern apostasy:
Korihor - secularism
Nehor - universalism
Sherem - anti-prophet
When the prophet says "we need women's voices" or an apostle says "we need the moral strength of women" - they do not mean "we need more women echoing Babylon's talking points"
They mean we need women standing for the truths of Christ and His church.
"If members knew about the unusual stuff in church history, they would not believe" - guy who missed the part where Joseph Smith saw God, translated book of ancient scripture he can literally read right now
Elder Wilcox warns about taking the wrong perspective on events you don't fully understand...
Progs immediately take the wrong perspective on his remarks, which they don't fully understand
I'm not a super social person, and it's difficult for me to hold a dialogue. I envy many of my

stacker presents himself as just having a lot of honest questions and doubts about what he believes - but he always dodges when it comes to his own beliefs.
He has a lot of doubts about YOUR beliefs, and he will only talk about why you are wrong.
Stop engaging this weasel...
I have within my following a lot of cool Latter-day Saint members. Here’s a question for you: Is this account a parody or is it just a fellow member who isn’t self-aware? Many of you follow it so I’ll assume it’s a parody and you get the humor
I'm sorry your pastor feels threatened by the organization in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
But just like you we experience that same peace when Jesus has forgiven us of our sins
We don't care if your pastor says it doesn't count.
Watch out for these VIOLENT

slogans:
- Jesus is King
- Read the scriptures
- Follow the prophet
- Have faith in Christ
- Marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God

Can't help but feel a connection between Elder Uchtdorf's talk about principle-based standards in FSY, and Elder Renlund's talk warning about false revelation (e.g. to embezzle).
We already know God's mind and will on the subject.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shares a belief with our Catholic friends that Peter was called by Jesus to lead his church.
Peter literally ordained Joseph Smith.
Sorry, but spending an entire talk on the name of the church—which has already been talked about at length—and no one talked about vaccination and masks is just…tone deaf.
If you have some other problem with
@ExmoCringe
, then try one of the following:
- Try BEING the kind of Christlike you preach
- Stop vigorously defending Babylon
- Cry louder to Baal, I'm sure he's about to fix it for you...
The Lord once forbade the eating of pork - a meat that most of us really enjoy today.
If the Lord forbids coffee and tea, it makes 0 difference if if they provide health benefits or can be OK - it's about whether you keep your covenant to follow God.
There was a family of Jehovah's Witnesses across the street from me growing up. They were devout and good people.
I've had Seventh Day Adventist friends that were also devout in observing unpopular standards.

I naturally think less of men who complain about their wives and women who complain about their husbands.
I don't think I'm the only one who has this tendency either...
@ExmoCringe
"The [LDS Church] could easily commit billions..."
What else could go in the []s?
- Microsoft Co.
- Meta Co.
- Amazon Co.
- Nation of Saudi Arabia
- EU
- Cartels
- Warlords in Africa
- James Huntsman estate
But James and the Trib don't hate those groups...
No amount of "niceness" is going to stop the great and spacious building from trying to shame you away from the Kingdom of God...
But when you realize that Babylon is foolish, temporary, and despite their veneer miserable, it can help you better focus on God.
My father in law passed away yesterday. He was a kind man who went out of his way to show interest in things I cared about.
I'm glad he is no longer suffering, and because of the power of Jesus, I look forward to seeing him again.
Lol at critics of the church who claim they are concerned about child abuse coverups but are A-OK with the lack of media coverage on Ghislaine Maxwell's Client list

Endurance to the end of the covenant path
Let God direct his church. We have more than enough to worry about just directing ourselves.
One of the biggest injustices in the fullness of times is access to temple covenants.
The faithless who only care about helping the poor with other people's money cannot shame those who understand what a blessing new temples are.
"But what about the Hitler picture?"
It's probably hard to see on a phone, but it's actually Jacinda Ardern, the tyrannical former prime minister of New Zealand, and notorious exmo.
If "Brigham Young did nothing wrong" makes you upset, then pretend it starts with "compared to you,"
If you think you're better than Brigham Young, delete your account.
This right here encapsulates why
@VoteTrevorLee
is unfit for office. It must be nice to be so sure in everything you believe to never question it and to openly disparage people who dare to challenge their given narrative.
...is as immature as a child who's mom says "I love you, but ice cream is not a substitute for dinner" and accuses her of having conditional love.
(14/20)
You may not convince a wayward child to come back by staying true to the Lord, but celebrating apostasy and feigning pleasure for acts that bring misery are not the answer.

Every few months, another discussion about missionary service occurs, with an alarming number of church members rushing to defend young men who choose not to serve missions.
A few thoughts (🧵)
@ExmoCringe
takes a page from the playbook of Elijah the Tishbite on My Carmel - turning their greatest weapon against them with some well-deserved mockery.
I typically avoid making predictions about longevity of prophets and apostles, but I think President Nelson will continue to preside for several more years.
He just loves us. Truly a Christlike man!
Bennett's approach here exposes the dishonesty of the "I'm a member of the church too... I'm one of you... see, we can ignore the prophets?"
The man who rejects the prophets is not really "one of us"
It's worth reading the entire back-and-forth
@scottew
It was a question
If you believe they're divinely ordained prophets, why don't you listen to them?
If you believe they aren't, why keep up the charade?
Dear Exmos:
I know it seems like Joseph Smith is the reason no girls want to marry you, but it would go a long way if you did your laundry or considered using products like this:
@ExmoCringe
I look forward to the day when they start helping to clean the church buildings instead of whining about prophets of God and pretending they're helping to clean something...
Those going through a faith crisis will never accept the answers to church history questions until they have open and honest reflection about their own personal history.
Possibly the best advice President Nelson has ever given re: exmos.
It’s so easy to always remember:
Live, Laugh, Love
Live with them
Laugh at them
Love them
Be skeptical of the ability of people who cut themselves off from the source of all truth when they judge the truth about you or your motivations.
(16/20)
Never let people who refuse to acknowledge the most fundamental truths such as Jesus being the Son of God, or family and marriage between a man and woman are ordained of God have power to assess the truth of your love.
(15/20)
Remember the time when the church was transparent about its investment practices, and enemies of the church deliberately used their influence to attack the church financially?
Maybe transparency isn't always a great idea...
One of the most vital beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ is that Jesus still uses prophets and apostles as he did in ancient times.
It is a tragedy to repeat the mistakes of those in the scriptures who disregarded their counsel.
I’m active LDS and have served and sacrificed for my beliefs. I feel my faith deeply. I know what LDS leaders have said about abortion, protecting life and religious freedom.
I am pro-choice and because it is a minority view with LDS members, I want to share why

But there was (as the bible shows) the pattern of God calling prophets and apostles to authoritatively declare His word.
Which means if your church is based only on the Bible - it is, ironically, unbiblical.
The talks in my Sacrament meeting on the Family: a proclamation to the world were fantastic!
They both pointed out how prophetic it was when given, and called out those who would dismiss it because "it's not canon"
