Fast Company told the story of @WearAtoms mask project, and our journey in the US as immigrant founders. In Feb 2014, I briefly visited US with a $3000 loan in 2014, raised $15,000 from an investor, incorporated our small project as C Corp.

This shoe startup's immigrant founders have donated 135,000 masks—so far - Fast Company

When the pandemic hit, Atoms began making copper masks, with Alexis Ohanian’s help. Each time it sells one, it gives one away to a community organization.

I am deeply saddened by the shooting of Blake, but we should try to remember that each case has its own individual circumstances. This man was wanted for sexual assault and domestic abuse, as well as he had a record of brandishing a firearm in bars while intoxicated.
