This is a sad and heartbreaking day for our city. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. We appreciate the efforts of our brave law enforcement officers and others who today risked their lives today to rescue others.

SO IT OPENED AS THE COCA-COLA STAR LAKE AMPHITHEATER IN 1990 WHEN OUR PARENTS STARTED GOING AND THEN IT WAS POST GAZETTE PAVILION AND FIRST NIAGARA PAVILION AND KEYBANK PAVILION AND SHORTLY S&T BANK MUSIC PARK BUT NOW IT’S BACK TO STAR LAKE AGAIN AND ITS IN BURGETTSTOWN
We continually share the message that in Pittsburgh, the strength of the city resides in the people. Today, and everyday, we stand with our friends and neighbors with love and compassion in our hearts.

Pierogies are a Lenten tradition.
Take a trip over to McKees Rocks to visit Pierogies Plus where you can get homemade pierogies just like your Polish grandmother made, if you had a Polish grandmother!

A man known around the world for a single catch, and yet he meant so much more to us. Your legacy will live on forever in the hearts of the Pittsburgh community. Rest in peace, Franco. 🖤💛

On this day in 1928, Andy Warhol was born.
Largely recognized as an artistic icon for New York City, Warhol’s Pittsburgh roots tended to be overlooked until 25 years ago with the opening of The Andy Warhol Museum on the North Shore.

Looking forward to capturing some snow covered scenes of
#Pittsburgh
soon, especially after a fresh snowfall, with big, fluffy flakes covering the tree branches. A side note in this scene: I love how the telephoto compression makes the tracks look nearly completely vertical.
In 1928, Pittsburgh's Roberto Clemente Bridge was the first to receive American Institute of Steel Construction's (
@AISC
) Most Beautiful Steel Bridge Award.
The Steel Curtain will stand at 220 feet - tallest coaster in PA, feature 9 inversions, the most in North America, and its tallest inversion will be 197 feet - the tallest in the world. via

Can we talk about that sunrise in
#Pittsburgh
this morning? With rain on the way, I thought sunrise would be a bust. Instead, it was one of the best of the year. Could not believe what I was seeing today, with every possible shade of sunrise filling the sky. I mean my goodness.
Though there are a few satellite locations, there is nothing quite like an experience at Primanti's original Strip District location in Pittsburgh.

Of all of the fall views of
#Pittsburgh
that I've ever captured, this one is my favorite. The trees in Point State Park look like balls of cotton against a sheet of green felt, and the whole scene has a painterly feel. Love how you can see fallen leaves on the ground as well.
