An additional thought: we don't have these gender related questions in, say, athletics punditry. I've never seen anyone suggest Paula Radcliffe, for example, isn't qualified to analyse the demands / tactics of a men's marathon because she's only competed in women's marathons...

I fell in love with football in the mid 90s, and one of the players I grew up adoring was Gianluca Vialli. Brilliant talent, huge endeavour, and that wonderful smile. And, judging by those who knew him, as lovely off the pitch as he was talented on it. 🙏❤️🙏

My sister (who hates football) gave me this today. She was genuinely proud that she'd found a football card for me. 🙈 🏉 ⚽ (Did I have the heart to tell her it's a rugby ball? Of course I did.) 'But it says match on it...' 😂
