In 2002, the vast majority of Irish people disagreed with decriminalising cannabis use. Only 21% of those polled were in favour of decrim. Now, those against, are in the minority at 31%. Ireland is still operating in line with these older views. It's time for change.

Sitting in on the #BetterMaternityCare campaign - they have one single demand: The return to pre-pandemic level of access across all 19 maternity units! It's infuriating that women's rights are STILL being dismissed, 19 months down the line we should be doing better.

The Medical Access Cannabis Program is highly restrictive. It currently helps less than 30 people. Recently Patrick Moore was sentenced to 5 years in prison for trying to help people by donating medicinal cannabis. MCAP must be expanded. Release Patrick and change the law.

Three weeks ago, I tackled An Taoiseach in the Dáil & requested that he make a surprise visit to UHL and Ennis Hospital. He didn't heed my words. Instead to much furore & fanfare, he will visit tomorrow. There are 72 people on trollies in UHL today; they will be hidden tomorrow.
