Here's a new weekly game we're gonna do this year. The AP poll voter data is public. Let's do a quick check in on how AP voting went down in relation to ND and see if it makes sense. Three voters had Notre Dame ranked 10, 1 voter moved ND down after the win at Texas A&M
I DON'T CARE THAT IT'S A HURRICANE DESHONE! WE'RE GOING TO THROW THE FOOTBALL AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO STOP THROWING THE FOOTBALL UNTIL THEY SOUND THE FINAL WHISTLE!
Mon. night/Tues. morning, it was difficult to envision Notre Dame’s Football program without Brian Kelly.
48 hours later, it is impossible to conceive the notion with him.
The hard part starts soon enough, but the good vibes of Dec. will be an enjoyable ride for Irish fans.
Look at how he excited he at the end of the game grinning at Harbaugh! Notre Dame's offense seemingly couldn't run the right play all night. Weird. It was the second lowest offensive output of the BK era.
Programming note: Notre Dame was mocked mercilessly for getting down 14-0 in the first quarter to Alabama.
Georgia is down 21-0 with 2:21 to go in the first.
I can't wait for the surprise and shock that comes when the ACC drops their schedules and "somehow" Duke, Louisville, Pitt, Clemson and Wake all have Bye weeks before the ND game.
Notre Dame's '23 schedule now official
Aug. 26: Navy
Sept. 2: Tenn. St.
Sept. 9 at NC St.
Sept. 16: Central Mich.
Sept. 23: Ohio St.
Sept. 30: at Duke
Oct. 7: at Louisville
Oct. 14: USC
Oct. 21: BYE
Oct. 28: Pitt
Nov. 4: at Clemson
Nov. 11: BYE
Nov. 18: Wake
Nov. 25: at Stanford
Second biggest winner tonight is the 2012 Notre Dame Fighting Irish. That dubious anecdote of being mentioned in blowouts falls to TCU in The Ring like fashion
Look
@NotreDameAD
, I won't pretend to know what direction the university plans to go in...but if it's to stay independent, I have an unsolicited recommendation for you. Hold a press conference on the Fourth and just do this:
A year ago today the Big Ten and the Pac-12 canceled their college football seasons. (Or so they thought.)
Here's my story from April on the action behind the scenes in the SEC, ACC and Big 12 to save their seasons:
Notre Dame hasn't been consistently overrated in over 15 years and some might say it's been the opposite. If that's your narrative, you need to get over the 2006 season, it's time to let it go.

Weird...when you look at the facts, it's almost like they were generally rated right where they should have been 🤷🏻♂️
Going into the 77 USC game, ND already had a loss and were sputtering, averaging just 20.6ppg. They went to green and averaged 45ppg the rest of the season. They played 44 straight in green. If ND wins, I'm advocating to reinstate this tradition and go green from here on out.
Why are those dates notable?
Aug 29th is the Thursday before the first game.
Dec 5th is the Thursday before the CFB playoff selection.
Dec 19th is the Thursday before the first playoff game.
Jan 16th is the Thursday before the Natty.
Set up like they expect something big...👀

Is getting to coach the "very best players", being afforded the "very best resources" and being in the "best conference" going help you practice a silent count before a big road game? What about game planning for games in the rain? Asking for a friend.
At long last, I wrote something. Just some things we’ve gotten squared away through 12 fall practices, plus why it’s good that the offensive line and corners are taking a beating right now.

If you add up all the probowls of former Michigan Wolverines currently in the NFL, who played college ball this century, it doesn't equal the six Harrison Smith has been too.
Jim Harbaugh famously slept on floor of 17 year old Quinn Nordin's room during an impromptu sleepover when trying to recruit him.
That 49 yard shank from Nordin, down 7-0 to Rutgers, incapsulates everything Harbaugh has been building to.
Clown show.
Michigan went 126-17(88%) between 1892-1905, in a time when field goals and touchdowns were both worth five points.
They literally were teaching schools how to play football and counting those "games" as wins. It's the biggest sham record in sports
