Going into the 77 USC game, ND already had a loss and were sputtering, averaging just 20.6ppg. They went to green and averaged 45ppg the rest of the season. They played 44 straight in green. If ND wins, I'm advocating to reinstate this tradition and go green from here on out.

Michigan went 126-17(88%) between 1892-1905, in a time when field goals and touchdowns were both worth five points. They literally were teaching schools how to play football and counting those "games" as wins. It's the biggest sham record in sports
