Its INSANE to me that Bo Bichette hit 26 HR with 24 SB (caught once). Scored 115 runs with 99 RBI and hit .290. And people are like.. yeah but im fading him in the first two rounds next year... He's 23 years old and plays in a top lineup. I am confused.

WAR is a useful stat, no doubt. But with Ohtani I just think we need to keep it simple. .275 average 34 homers 11 steals .887 OPS as a hitter 161 IP 2.35 ERA 213 K as a pitcher. Best baseball player ever. It's not even debatable.

I think the Ohtani/Vlad MVP race is closer than people think. by WAR, which isn't perfect.. Ohtani is roughly the 18th best offensive player, 42nd most valuable pitcher. Vlad is the best offensive player in baseball. Ohtani: 7.3 Vlad: 6.8 It's definitely close.

The replies to this tweet are so ridiculous. "He's only 50 on player rater" " look at his slash line" "Bad obp!" A 27/45 pace is an elite fantasy player. This community cares way too much about slash lines/walk rates and especially player raters.

Vlad isn't even fully lifting the ball yet and is slashing.. .356/.496/.644 with a 19.1% walk rate and 15.7% strikeout rate. This kid doesn't have a ceiling. He could hit .345 with 45 home runs and I wouldn't even be a little surprised.

Average pitcher take 11 months to come back to the mound after Thoracic Outlet Surgery. Stephen Strasburg had the surgery on July 29th. ADP in DCs since Dec 1st is 333. It should probably be 633.
