Every Kraken game in their first 3 years has sold out, the Storm are top 4 in attendance every year, the sounders have the highest MLS attendance, UW has 70k fans a game, the Mariners draw well and the Seahawks sell out every game. Sounds bad!
The national consensus seems to think the Seahawks are a bottom 10 team in the NFL and I’m not exactly sure what that’s based on other than the fact we have a new coaching staff? What am I missing
My 15 min of fame are hopefully over, but I want to thank everyone for their follows, DM’s, mentions, etc. A few months ago I went through one of the most traumatic experiences imaginable, & last Friday unexpectedly turned into an awesome moment that I needed. Go Dawgs/Hawks
Not technically, I just took a pic. Pretty fun and unexpected night. Thanks to those who followed. I don’t tweet much, but Oregon sucks and Phil Knight looks like he smells like cat piss
Two years ago we had the worst season imaginable, and then hired a coach from Fresno State and brought in an injured QB from Indiana. It turned into a coach of the year and a heisman finalist and we are in the playoff lol. Pretty sick.
Dot dot dot…unless I get a better offer from the NFL in Seattle. Never mind what I said to you kids about staying at Alabama and not entering the transfer portal while I enter the transfer portal my own darn self.
#GoCougs
The map is very detailed for UW: Rainier, boats, seaplane, space needle, cherry blossoms, stadium.
Oregon: here’s our stadium and a couple buildings we have. And here’s the duck.
The whole “I know UW is 13-0 but will they be any good next season?” crowd is insane.
We got a damn PLAYOFF game in a week, I could give two shits about next season right now lol
If you were worried about this game not being realistic, worry no more. Even got Ducks faking injuries for photo shoots. Incredible attention to detail by EA.
The EA Sports NCAA 25 cover shoot also included actors wearing uniforms for Notre Dame, Georgia, Alabama, USC, Ohio State, Florida and Oregon. The Duck got to be the injured player in the game.
The Sonics curse lives on, and it’s very, very real. Durant, Harden, Westbrook and the
#1
seed in the western conference doesn’t mean shit. You hillbillies will never win until there’s a team back in Seattle.
The
#Seahawks
have finalized the hire of Scott Huff as their offensive line coach, per source. Huff worked for new Seattle OC Ryan Grubb at Washington (and, very briefly, Alabama) and now follows him to the NFL.
Kraken have signed the
#3
and
#9
ranked available free agents so far. Probably overpaid a bit for both, but nice to see some aggressive spending by a team in this city…
Would be a bit surprised if Westover doesn’t find a spot on the 53-man. Bellore is gone, and Westy perfectly fills that special teams/H-back type role. Hawks also not super deep at the TE spot.
Any fire Jedd talk is ridiculous. I’m not team Jedd, but you can’t burn through 2 coaches in 2 years in modern day cfb and expect to strike gold. Retaining/getting talent would become harder and you’re more likely to set yourself back 5 years than find any immediate success.
Seahawks are hiring former Washington offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, who recently accepted the same position at Alabama, per me and
@PeteThamel
. Seahawks have filled their OC hole.
I have a take: The Mariners are probably better off struggling and showing their faults rather than maintaining a large division lead and hiding the obvious deficiencies. It should become even more obvious to ownership/FO to take action at the deadline, or even earlier. Go do it.
Doesn’t really bother me to see players in the portal, etc. Most of the attention to that is coming from other fanbases, but they forgot one thing. We just went 14-1, played in the natty, and we’re Washington. You’re not.
@uwcommentor
710 Seattle was just roasting you (not by name) and everyone else that took pics at Dinos in their afternoon segment today. I'm not sure which own of then said it.
They referred to it as "loser activity" and invasion of privacy.
I will take the high road and NOT say anything about Oregon. They’re working through some things and when you match up against an opponent like the *checks notes* Idaho Vandals, sometimes these things happen. They will still be very good.
Adam Schefter didn't break the Ryan Grubb story. Nor did Ian Rapoport.
Bellevue resident Kyle Baldwin did. At Dino's. On Friday afternoon. Right place, right time.
Bob Scoffin' Condotta.🤣
You gotta hear the interview. He's fantastic:
It was obviously lost in the result Saturday, but Grady Gross is probably the best kicker we’ve had since who? Bummer we had to settle for 3 of them, but the kid is now 10-11 in his career from 40+
Wow, I guess
#flocktothedock
is legit. Buddy just sent this to me from right outside the stadium. Give them credit for starting early and setting the tone.
I am devastated about losing our AD who was here for 13 minutes and couldn’t sign our football coach who took us to the natty. Where do we go from here
The Seattle Seahawks are expected to hire Alabama’s Ryan Grubb as their offensive coordinator, sources tell
@247Sports
.
A return to Washington for Grubb, who was the leader of the University of Washington’s high-powered offenses the last two years.
I met a guy in the pen tonight from Alaska and we became friends and he gave me a ticket to join him in the diamond club for tomorrow’s game. The run I’m on is unmatched.
Ryan Grubb expected to address the media today at 11:30 at the VMAC. Will he start by saying “I’m your new offensive coordinator” and take another job somewhere else tomorrow? Tune in to the Seahawks’ YouTube channel to find out!
#GoCougs
The chances are slim, but now might be a good time to fire Scott Servais. Bryce Miller’s comment last night that “nobody is having any fun” is extremely telling.
You also just waived a clubhouse staple and the vibes are as low as possible for a team essentially tied for 1st.
His name is Kyle Baldwin
@uwcommentor
.
He is a Cutter & Buck employee.
But on Friday - He's at center of the
#Seahawks
world.
Dino's Pub. His pic broke the Ryan Grubb story.
The 15 min interview on Mitch Unfiltered Ep 275 is a MUST listen. Here's link:
ESPN obtained the Notice of Allegations being sent to Michigan:
- 5 coaches committed Lvl 1 violations, including Harbaugh
- Sherrone deleted 52 texts with Stalions the day the report came out
- Stalions WAS on CMU sideline
- Illegally scouted 58x in 3yrs
Vacate EVERYTHING.
Heard from someone today that John Schneider referred to me as “some asshole” at dinos. Seems a bit harsh since he’s never met me. If I’m able to meet him someday he’d realize that I actually am indeed an asshole.
I was in Ann Arbor in 2021 and remember how depressing it was to witness that game. If someone told me that two years later we’d be playing them in the natty I’d ask that person to seek professional help, but here we are.
