Ibn Al-Jawzi wrote 800 years ago:
A man fornicated with a woman AND made her pregnant.
Another man asked him: "Why did you not use contraception (coitus interruptus - to at least prevent the pregnancy)?"
He replied: "It had reached me that 'coitus interruptus' (العزل) is discouraged in Islam (makroh)."
The second man said: "And it had not reached you that fornication is forbidden in Islam (haram)???"
("Talbis Iblis", 314).
He also explicitly says in Tahafut in the preface that his contention with the falasifa was not with their maths and astronomy, but their metaphysics which (a) they fail to prove (b) it contradicts Islam (c) their math do not prove their metaphysics.

Remove the Bangladeshi flag from your name. It is an insult for our Bangladeshi brothers and sisters to be associated with you.

The Hadd of apostasy must be applied on one who exhibits Kufr and does not repent.
This is hardly unique to Al Ghazali.
Also, the text does not state that Mutazilites should be killed.

"Pakistan is not going to be a theocratic State – to be ruled by priests with a divine mission."
Jinnah defines theocracy as clerical rule, does your translation do justice to this definition?
@AvdullahYousef
Taking part in fighting between armies is one thing.
Taking part in a genocide and ethnic cleansing is another.
Not doing the latter is something one would expect from all humans.
@Taimur_Laal
There is a necessary cause for every event; that cause is God.
As for perceived causes, as explained above, it is logically possible that fire may not burn or burning exists without fire.
@IbneKhan01
It's clearly in the context of groups like Daesh.
The Shaikh himself is an ardent supporter of the revolution.
Though one must question why OP chose to post this quote at such a time.
@Taimur_Laal
Loaded question.
You still have not proven that Al Ghazali stated that they are wajib ul qatl.
Apostasy has to be proven in court, and since it is criminalised in the Sharia therefore being the greatest scientist ever is irrelevant.
@AbdullaAndalusi
The contracts of Dhimma and social contracts are mentioned within the book itself, right before the quoted part.
Shaykh Al Yaqoubi has literally stated in his book that slavery itself is not abrogated, and if an enemy starts enslaving then Muslims have the right to do so in turn.
Overview of the marxist view regarding Slavery:
- Slavery was a historical necessity
- Slavery was progressive compared to killing every enemy prisoner
- Slavery increased the productive forces of society compared to what preceded it

The point isn't that they are forbidden or impossible under Sharia.
Simply put it's not NECESSARY for an islamic state to provide them, as Qaiser seems to say.
Of course, it is recommended to improve the living standards of the people to our ability.

That's a lie peddled by Tyson; who later admitted that it was a misleading statement (assuming earthly pursuit to be devilish).
Here's an actual quote from the very first volume of Ihya:

What is interesting to note is that according to Shaikh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi, the Shafi'i position on Jizya has historically never been implemented.
The Ayubids for example followed Shafi'i jurisprudence, but in the matter of Jizya they implemented the Hanafi ruling.

All causality belongs to God.
Accepting this does not stop us from making judgements based on empirical observations of reality.
Laws derived from those observations simply reflect how God allows the world to usually function; they can be changed at His will (e.g. miracles).

Hanafis whether early, late, or current say that if the alcohol is not sourced from grapes or dates, is not made for (intended) intoxication, and CAN'T intoxicate you, it’s permissible to consume.
