My child was a bully ko primary. When I was told, I went to his class and had the students he bullied come and he had to apologize to each child individually. I also got him the help he needed and we addressed why he was aggressive. He’s the protector now. Parents, you can help.

Diarrhea kills. If your child is vomiting and can’t keep fluid down, if the diarrhea is constant, if they can’t drink at least 10ml per body weight in fluid per stool, or if they’re weak and their heart is racing, SEEK HELP IMMEDIATELY.

Just FYI… You don’t get diabetes from eating too much sugar. How much sugar you consume has absolutely NOTHING to do with whether or not you get diabetes. Diabetes is a problem with insulin and your body’s inability to to properly utilize and manage sugar (and other things) 🤷🏾‍♀️

A tip for my girlies with anemia🩸: cook with molasses. Put them in your sauces, stews, soups, healthy smoothies, marinates, etc… I find it hard to take molasses alone, so hiding them in things helps 🤜🏾🤛🏾

People are dying. Young people with no comorbidities. People are sick sick. On oxygen. On pressure support. On ventilators. Healthcare workers are bone tired. And it’s only just reached us. We are sad. Deeply sorrowful. There are no words to explain it.

My angel mom died of ovarian cancer 10 years ago. She didn’t fight. She didn’t want to fight. She was diagnosed on a Friday. Dr Mompati told me the diagnosis as I was sitting at JFK airport in NYC boarding a plane home. She died the next Friday. What a woman! Unparalleled 🙏🏾💖

I graduated medical school in 2005. I just realized that 2025 will be a full 2 decades since I became a doctor. What a perfect time to retire 🙏🏾💝 20 years of loving and caring for children. Ugh man! What a beautiful, grace-filled life of purpose 💖 I am #eternallygrateful 🙏🏾🙌🏾

HIV is NOT a death sentence. It’s a chronic and manageable infection. You can be HIV+ and live a full life. In 2022, there is no reason to have babies routinely born HIV+. None whatsoever 😥 Please test. And if you’re +, take your meds as instructed. Be compliant. 😡🥺😢
