In 1991, Nóirín from Co. Kerry went to Vietnam to adopt a child. At the time, the small-town discussion would centre on why she, an unmarried woman, would make such a 'strange' decision. But she was courageous.
Words cannot describe my love for my mom. Happy Mother's Day❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, everyone - I am in contact with a Garda Detective at the moment with all the information that I have and will not be commenting further right now. I hope this woman is ok, I am raging for her.
Why our fadas matter:
Craic vs Cráic (anus)
Órla vs Orla (vomit)
Gráin (hate) vs Gráín (cuddle)
Steamar (scrap of) vs Steámar (stale piss)
Tonóg (a duck) vs Tónóg (small arsed)
Mearaíocht (going crazy) vs méaraíocht (fingering)
Anás (poverty) vs Anas (anus)

Today I turn 30! As I reflect on my 20s, one of the most important things I've learned is to truly accept me for me.
With that in mind, I’d like to openly say that I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community (I'm B ;)) and have been quietly opening up to ppl in the past few years.🏳️🌈

Dick played a very important part in my adoption writing a character reference for my mom! I will never forget his kindness.

It is with great EXCITEMENT that I bring you the incredible news that I have been dying to tell you for months. TODAY, the OFFICIAL Irish translation of

Growing up adopted by a single Irish woman, my father figure was undoubtedly my Grandad who I miss everyday. Thinking of Pádraig Ó Ciobháin today

Hello folks, would greatly appreciate your good wishes this morning. Getting an important letter notorised and another translated; a positive step forward I hope in finding my birth family in Vietnam.
15 years today since my grandad passed away. Fear uasal ⁊ fear mór scléipe ba ea é riamh le Gaelainn álainn ón gcliabhán. I would not love Irish had I not had him in my life.
My Mom buys the

for this review!
Hiya. Noticed an influx of new followers following my tweets. Just so ye know:
I’m not an immigrant
I’m not ‘new Irish’
I’ve never lived anywhere apart from Ireland
It is so disheartening after years of grinding to save, after having the landlord move us out, after spending years living back at home, that after ALL of that: we have a mortgage and desposit ready to go but there aren't houses that we can actually afford due to bidding wars.

Screenshot the temperature and share it with everyone. Again it might not cool you down but you will at least get some sympathy from fellow Irish people (not from those on the continent though)
I caved. I did a DNA test. It's being posted abroad tomorrow. As an adopted person it's very hard to know about the corporate and marketing side of DNA databases and resist using them out of principle. At the end of the day, I just want to find my family. Wish me luck.
How to write an alt-right Irish nationalist profile:

Bio: Celtic. TruthSpeaker. Freethinker. Ireland for the Irish. Not a sheep. Here to bear witness to the declination of the Irish race. Break free of the mind prison [Irish Flag Emoji]
Some words for burds as

It has been SO HARD to keep this secret in, but I am beyond ecstatic and just overwhelmed to be one of the recipients of the Writer Residencies in Cill Rialaig this year. It is just an incredible honour that my proposal was accepted. Mo chroí.
We are delighted to announce the recipients of our 2020 Cill Rialaig Residencies
Niamh Campbell, Úna-Minh Kavanagh, Sree Sen, Damien Hasson, Justine Carbery, Oisín Kearney, and Carrie-Jade Williams will be heading to the beautiful Cill Rialaig in October
If those messages are hard for you to read then imagine how hard is for me to receive these every single day. Don’t even dare tell me to simply block and report when you don’t have a clue how it hurtful it is.
Natasha O'Brien she pleaded with Cathal Cortty to stop and he wouldn't, her friend was screaming at him to stop and he wouldn't
A passerby had to pull him off her.
Solidarity to Natasha.
My solidarity with
@hazechu
who was subjected to vile harassment from far right cowards at her own home. Hazel has been subjected to ongoing racism and intimidation since becoming Mayor. This is the reality for women and people of colour in Ireland. It's not a non-issue.

My grandad and I decades apart going through the eye of the needle at Kilmalkeadar 💚💛
True story: I learned all the counties in Irish in my Gaelscoil when I was 11. It stuck with me for life. Hence how I'm much faster and able to recite all 32 counties in less than 15 seconds as Gaeilge.

I’ve been racially targeted by those who often use Irish in their bios but they wouldn’t be able to speak a word of the language. They’re not learners, they’re just racist arseholes
"..Ireland has more in common with other colonised countries than it does with imperialist ones. Their inclusion within the hierarchy of race as “white” means Irish ppl can be manipulated emotively to believe that Irishness & whiteness are the same thing"
