one morning in 2020 I woke up feeling the confidence I could probably spin really fast on a nonhip and maybe fakie 540 (using this very liberally). So I called my buddy Nate who was gracious enough to film me battle this for 45 minutes in disgusting August St. Louis heat.
A little over a year ago I moved to New York and knew no one, had no friends to skate with. I knew Ev from Twitter and DM’d him with what now in retrospect, the dorkiest DM asking if he’d wanna skate. Fast forward we’re in the Bible ♥️
“Saw baker has a deathwish 2 and made me think of our hijinx. Hope you’re doin well and miss your beagle. You don’t have to reply tell mom I miss her cooking”
Look obviously Bakers success is mostly contributed to Andrew but we must give Beagle his flowers. That man is able to create lifelong bonds and it’s all about what he thinks about his friends.
All his friends are winners.
Throwing this back into the ether because I’m really bad at promoting my work.
Last summer I premiered a Midwest based homie video out of St. Louis. This one means a lot to me and hope that it evokes the feelings of home ♥️
Had a small premiere for my silly lil video last night and feel so lucky to have old friends that wanted to contribute to this project and new friends that want to support it. Can’t wait to get home and premiere for real this summer ♥️ love y’all
Turned 27 (derogatory) and inherently feel the need to
- wear button ups to the spot
- try to keep a consistent haircut
- take another stab at growing a mustache
- stop talking about 2000’s Crailtap
- attack wallies and low-stake transition like never before
Can’t begin to explain my gratitude for my community and the support they showed throughout this video. My friends, my team, my family, everyone who showed out, thank you for this dream come true. ♥️ St. Louis forever baby
