From May 31-June 7, the Upper Grand District School Board will lower all flags at school & office buildings, where possible, to honour the 215 children whose lives were taken at a former residential school in Kamloops, B.C.

At tonight's Special Board Meeting, trustees passed motions requiring that ALL students in the UGDSB (JK-12+) wear masks inside schools and on buses, allowing for appropriate medical exemptions. We will update the website tomorrow with the motions & will update our guides/FAQ

Our flags are lowered to honour the 751 individuals, many of them children, whose lives were taken at the former Marieval Indian Residential School in Saskatchewan. The flags will remain at half-mast from now until further notice.
