At the end of Feb’2020 we will launch the Edtech50 Yearbook 2020
#edtech
magazine - the who’s who & what’s what of
#UK
Edtech. It’s the third in the
#Edtech50
series.
Amanda Evans (Labour), Ty Goddard (Labour), Jacob Oliver Taylor (Labour) have been elected as councillors for the Moulsecoomb & Bevendean ward.
The turnout for this ward is 3,043 - 28.8% of an electorate of 10,583.
My resistance was futile.
Thankfully.
But I have a series of protocols, red lines and memoranda of understanding. Meaningless flannel.
Bottom line is this lad will not be called Jurgen.
Our friend says to us today; " I had more praise in four weeks at this new
#school
, than I did in four years."
I'm actually a good
#teacher
.
#Leadership
and the culture created by that ONE person, can change lives and shatter confidence.
Millions of us will be watching a
#TV
programme all at the same time - just like the old days.

After this intense & bumpy week - we ought to be thinking sooner about a national
#Edtech
support service.
How can we harness the
#digital
confident schools to help others?
How can we build on the good work of the big three
#tech
firms & broaden out?
& infrastructure.
We never expected such positive reaction,
#socialmedia
#reach
& the lasting collaborations that it inspired. It helped people, products and projects believe in themselves and the
#Edtech
sector.
We’re an independent voice - no pay to play.
Shall we do the
#edtech50
#2019
again?
Thank you for all your support, advice & fun this year.
Learnt so much. Laughed a lot. And worked hard.
Wish you happy
#Christmas
, good restful holidays & peaceful

Our thoughts turn to this cheeky new arrival next week.
It won’t be called Jurgen or Ian- sorry x
This is our MP.
I remember her arriving in the City before she was first elected.
#Brighton
Never voted for her; but have a great respect for this clarity and articulate focus, as we face what is a national emergency.

#school
leaders.
#coronavirus
We feel it is essential to initiate conversations about potential closure as soon as possible and this information may help.
I am pleased about the great
#edtech
‘leap forward’ & to have helped establish this resilient & dynamic network of

Two expansions & an extension isn’t bad for what was going to be a small research programme.

I think we need to talk about
#Edtech
beyond the crisis.
Do you want to get involved in the conversation?

Delighted to have so many great speakers and panellists involved.
This is just the start - there will be phases.
We need to come together to create a national
#edtech
support network.

A mahoosive shout out to the

network of

- over 4,000 institutions received direct
#edtech
support and over 10,000 benefitting from advice / guidance - policy, video and courses.
Good work in any year; extraordinary in this.

It was a bit sooner than I expected, that she thankfully agreed to be Mrs G & longer than I ever thought possible. ❤️💥
Good Boozers can sometimes do that. 🤣🙏
I promise you we are slowly winning the
#Edtech
debate here in England.
It's been slow- there has been time wasted - a level of

We don't yet have all the answers; but 'areas of promise' blossoming.
We now need to behave as a

Eddie has served charities,

and proper national campaigner.
I'm supporting Eddie - proper good work needed.
