Oak Mountain had one heck of a season, and nobody can deny that. You hate to see the year come to an end the way it did for the Eagles. This group of seniors that they had should be commended. They made two Final Fours and won a blue map last year.

I’ve seen both of these men coach live and they put on a clinic every week. Seeing Freeman for four years in high school and Forester just a short month ago in the playoffs was an absolute joy to watch. We should continue to see success from their teams down the road.

I may be an Oak Mountain Alum, but sending my prayers to @SpainParkATH quarterback Evan Smallwood, as he was carted off the field in tonight’s game. Always a terrifying scene to see this happen. I hope nothing serious has happened and that he can get back on the field soon.
