But the health and wealth gains from WFH by the people that live there, life changing for so many.
Removing 2-4 hours commuting opens so many doors. Like generating another income stream.
@unusual_whales
Another CEO telling you how bad WFH is while the same CEO is working remote.
Easiest way to spot a dinosaur company that is going nowhere, and the stock price reflects it.
@unusual_whales
CEOs have been WFH for decades and the pandemic forced them to pull back the curtain.
Now we all know how much quality of life improves when you no longer are forced to be inefficient with your day.
@unusual_whales
A lot of people upset about something that would impact about 700 people.
I'm not for the idea, but why do you all care so much about these 700 people?
@unusual_whales
Since changing to WFH...
I eat better
I exercise more
I started a newsletter
I can now trade before work
I work more hours & produce more
All thanks to working from home.
@unusual_whales
The housing market in AZ has been saturated by flippers. Many are effectively ruining neighborhoods with their profits over people approach.
It's healthy to flush this nonsense out of the housing market. It's better for families and neighborhoods.
@unusual_whales
The math is not hard. Working from home has made me
- happier
- healthier
- more productive
- less likely to quit my job
- able to build wealth on the side
It's not even close. WFH is a huge positive.
How do I find winning growth stocks? 📈
The CANSLIM Method
C - Currenty quarterly earnings
A - Annual earnings
N - New product, service, or mgmt
S - Supply & Demand
L - Leaders or Laggards
I - Institutional Ownership 👈
M - Market Direction
But which letter is most important?
@unusual_whales
At the same time 1/3 carry credit card debt and 39% of Americans report having no retirement savings.
These numbers do not add up well.
@unusual_whales
This is not the same as a collapse of an entire market with global implications like we saw with housing in 2008.
It is very sad for those involved, but the impact is not nearly as widespread.
@unusual_whales
UW turning more and more into a click bait account, mimicking what the lame news outlets do.
Personally, I'd appreciate it if you stuck to what you have become successful at and known for. Facts on investing and trading.
@unusual_whales
Still waiting for facts and data behind these claims that remote workers produce less. HI haven't seen any from the CEOs complaining which tells me they have none.
Know what you're investing in 💰
Mega-cap stocks: $200 billion+
Large-cap: $10-$200 billion
Middle-cap: $2-$10 billion
Small: $250M-$2 billion
Growth: expectations to grow in size or gain market share
Value: stocks considered worth more than their price suggests
Invest wisely
@unusual_whales
I've interviewed hundreds and hired dozens. My experience is...
It's impressive when someone has "an in" but works like they don't.
Nepotism + entitlement = lazy
Nepotism + humble approach = some of the best people you can hire
@unusual_whales
Personally, I started a path to building an account to $1.4 million.
I also changed my eating habits completely and feel fantastic.
I'm doing this!
Remote work opened my eyes.
@unusual_whales
I should add, I worked in mortgage lending and the company I worked for went under in 2007.
And then joined a Mutual Fund focused on financials just in time for the 2008 crash.
This is not like then.
Early retirement is achievable and there is one trick that beats every strategy out there.
Start investing when you are young.
What are you waiting for?
Buy & hold stocks ~8% per year
Buy for dividends ~3% annual yield
Sell covered calls ~1% premium monthly
Do all three, now you're really onto something.
@unusual_whales
When does their account unfreeze so they can close the position? 😂
Imagine working hard to build your account to $1.4 million.
Would you keep it at Robinhood? ....nope.
Take advantage of life's opportunities
WFH?
- spend the extra time learning a new skill
Meet someone new?
- learn about their interests
- try new things
Doors open?
- Do not hesitate to walk right in
This is how I went from

six figures>>trading

If you believe in a god or gods, this should amaze you.
If you don't believe in any god, this should amaze you.
This is amazing!
Hobbies are fine. There is nothing wrong with a good hobby.
But if you want to leave your 9 to 5 for good, you need to turn your hobby into a business.
@unusual_whales
Sounds like a shortcoming to me. Thousands of people do see it. Maybe he should start asking them.
Working remote is the single biggest improvement in my lifetime to employee health and the life balance companies pretend to support.
@unusual_whales
Some people here have zero idea how credit scores work and it shows. The system is broken.
Paid off my car early = 80 pt credit score DROP 🔻 due to "lack of diversified credit"
Took a small loan out against the car 1 month later, paid off a small credit card = +130 pts
Broken

@unusual_whales
It's crazy to watch companies fall behind in real time as they try to impose their antiquated thinking about the workplace.
I think its a sign of weak leadership.
These women's stories top my list for inspiration:
- Oprah came from extreme poverty and is now worth billions. Everyone knows this but what is most impressive is that is just a small part of her story. She has achieved so much more.
- Indra Noovi left India to chase her dreams
@fmarciano
If you're stuck at a soul sucking corporate job where you feel no appreciation, is that better than being able to work on your own schedule, albeit with fewer dollars in your account?
It's all about perspective and goals.
