Full time trading, if done correctly, is a very boring job. It is 90% waiting and 10% execution. It’s glamourised in the wrong way. It’s good for the benefits, but it’s not how it’s perceived. You won’t be sitting on a screen all day.

The worst part about trading is become desensitised to money. You could lose £1000+ on a stop loss and not care. Or be up heavy on a running trade and not be happy. But then irl you don’t wanna spend money on food 🤣🤣🤣.

Okay this is the best way to learn how to trade: Firstly, learn the basics. Retail trading, watch them shit videos on YouTube. You won’t make any money, but it’s the basics. Then watch ICT. Open up a demo account, fail fail fail. Then open up a live, and take it slow.

On phase 1 of my last account, I was around break even for a few days. Not really getting anywhere. Then I found a food set up and jumped to 5%. Then it took me one day after that to get to 8%. Moral of the story is, just wait for good set ups. You have time.

2 trades per day is the dumbest advice. You shouldn’t have a goal to take 2 trades. Take them when they come. Risk higher on good set ups. Risking less makes people trade more, but less probability trades because “I’m only risking 0.5%”. Risk over 1% and wait for your chance.
