This is appalling, and we should be ashamed for letting New Zealand get into this state. But instead we seem to find more and more reasons to stick with the status quo and these rubbish outcomes. We’ve got to do better

ANZ is requiring residential property investors to have a 40% deposit (up from 30%) The move comes as the RBNZ plans to reinstate LVRs in March, requiring investors to have a 30% deposit ANZ has seen 2 record months of mortgage lending with 32% going to investors & 18% to FHBs
