The disbarment is proportionate. The basis of your conclusion - singular unethical practice - is not the right metric. What we should look at is the severity of the unethical practice in question. Alluding to your ability to influence litigation outcomes is unforgivable.

Withdrawing the license of a lawyer based on a singular unethical practice of poaching is, in my respectful view, excessive. Lawyers are not angels. She could be sanctioned in every other way. But to completely disbar her is very harsh, if you ask me.
