One thing I learned a long, long time ago. Sometimes the best coaches aren’t the ones winning all the time and going to state. They are simply the ones getting every, single ounce of effort out of their players. No matter the record. Make sure you thank those coaches.

30 years ago we lost in the state finals. Three of these guys played their guts out. Two of us waived towels. Everyone had a role. The lessons we learned and the friendships we made. What a day to see these guys again. “I love you guys.”
