Warner Bros./Discovery's most recent earnings report, in early November, was met with one of the biggest single-day sell-offs in WB/D's short history. THE STOCK HAS NOW LOST HALF ITS VALUE SINCE ZASLAV TOOK CHARGE. This guy is an unmitigated disaster. He needs to be sent packing.
Warner Bros.'s DAVID ZASLAV has cancelled the release of "Coyote Vs. Acme" in order to take a $30 million tax write-off. What this man has done to the legacy of the studio's animation dept. is a disgrace and an insult to all who work in our profession. Zaslav needs to be stopped.
Actual clip from Animaniacs reboot Season 2: Yakko sings: “Shitty.” WHAT??? It’s true. Yakko sings: “Industrial next, it’s major effect - To take us from town to the city - We mined coal and built trains - Machines plowed our grains - And we treated the workers real shitty.”

One of the great comedy writers, and one of the comedy champions who made “Animaniacs” and “Pinky and the Brain” genuinely funny, has left us. Gordon Bressack, thank you for all the laughs. May the laughter you’ve created in your cartoons echo around the world forever.
A few of the "Animaniacs" paintings on display at the Choice Fine Art booth this past weekend at the San Diego Comic Con. Inspired by: "Dot, The Macademia Nut," the Main Title march, the opening Warner logo from "I'm Mad," and a classic Wakko "Gookie."

Two classic animated TV segments aired on this day.
From Tiny Toon Adventures, “The Potty Years” where Plucky as a baby flushes things down the toilet.
And from Animaniacs, “Turkey Jerky” aired 30 years ago and it’s perfect to watch for Thanksgiving.

Back in the day, on Animaniacs, The Warners did a parody of “Friends”: Yakko, Wakko and Dot moved in and turned into the friends who wouldn’t leave. On “Friends,” Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing was brilliant and hilarious. Very saddened by his passing.
See you at MomoCon in Atlanta this coming weekend May 24-27! Stop by our faboo booth, get an autograph, hang out, have a mint, and don’t miss our ANIMANIACS panel on Saturday at 11:30am!
The brilliant Dave Alvarez and Paul Dini stopped by for a visit at the Warner Brothers Studio Lot Art Expo today. So fortunate to know these two greats! Art Expo's last Day is tomorrow. Free parking and free entrance.
Look who I ran into at Comic Con! David Errigo — the brilliant voice of both Plucky Duck and Hamton in the new “Acme Looniversity” animated series! He’s awesome in the roles! And funny too! WB made the perfect choice with David!

We started development, stories, designs in Jan. 1989. We aired the first 65 eps by end of March 1991. So for the first 65 eps, we took 2 years and 2 months. The remaining 44 eps aired by Dec. 1992. The entire production time: 3 years & 11 months - basically 4 years, not 2.

Alexis and Nate Ruegger (Skippy Squirrel) found this at their new corner Armenian market! Yes, hazelnut spread with strawberry and cocoa! Slappy’s favorite!
Met up with the legendary voice of Darkwing Duck, Winnie the Pooh and countless other beloved characters - Jim Cummings! At Des Moines Con this past weekend!
At WonderCon, I met Jess Harnell's brother Jason and Jason's wife Sara. Jason not only looks just like Jess, he sounds just like him too! Jason walked up and said a couple of words and I said, "Wow! You sound just like Jess Harnell." Jason: "That's because I'm his brother."
Marco Farias made the drive from Helendale CA to visit me at the Warner Bros Studio Tour Art Expo — where Scooby photo-bombed us. The WB Art Expo is underway from now until Nov. 19. Entrance is free. 3400 Warner Blvd. in Burbank. Thanks for making the trek, Marco!
Boo is pretty bitter about the reboot and wants it to be known that he did not participate in that 2020 trophy hunter episode where his doppelgänger stand-in, Chicken Poo, hunted down members of the 1993 cast. His review of the episode: “Buc-buc-bacawk!”
A tribute to animator Joanna
@JoTheZette
Davidovich, who made our trip to Atlanta and to MomoCon an unforgettable experience. Please forgive the home-made quality of this video, but please believe its message: nobody draws the Warners better than Joanna. She truly is the best!
Stopped by Ralph’s market today to pick up a carton of milk. Saw this. Do you want to know what’s wrong with the world today? THIS is what’s wrong with the world today!
A MAGIC MOMENT -- The graves of my parents -- Phil and Gloria Ruegger, side-by-side -- receive visitors at the Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen NJ, Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020. Thanks to Sarah Gunther Ruegger for capturing this magic moment!
What do you do when the network cancels your show? Win the Emmy and gloat! Came across this Emmy win pic for Freakazoid while doing a little research. (From upper left- Tom Ruegger, Andrea Romano, Rich Arons, Me, Jean MacCurdy, John McCann, Scott Jeralds.) (Kneeling - Peter
I bumped into Chicken Boo over the weekend. We reminisced, had a few laughs and a couple of drinks until Boo fell off the barstool and his fez flew off. The bartender yelled, “We don’t serve chickens here except in sandwich form,” and kicked us out.
