Hot Tip: the Max for LFO is essentially 8x LFOs in one. If you don't use the Multimap function, hit the edit button, delete the Multimap section at the bottom, and re-save it as "LFO_Lite." Now, your LFO will use less than 1% CPU per instance. #maxforlive #maxmsp

It’s not that DMX/lightning wasn’t possible before, I have a whole setup with [serial] that works quite well, but boi was it tedious to program. Beam for Max takes all the guess work out of it, and actually makes it fun to setup & explore.

I see this being useful in many scenarios: • Live on stage, engineer sos switching patches • Installations (Galleries & Public): automating patch switches based on time/sensor input is easy, etc. • Physical Devices (Module HW/Guitar Pedals etc.) • One-off bespoke 'objects'
