JUST IN: Taiwan is opening borders to visitors from US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and diplomatic allies starting from 12 Sept. Visitors do not need to apply for visa to enter but the quarantine rule of “3+4” still applies.

verified that a photo circulating on China’s social media as real. The ministry said that the photo was taken by long lens from a PLA drone flying over Kinmen on the evening of 16 August. They stressed that the soldiers intercepted the drone immediately.
The Mandarin words roughly translate into: “Thank you friends of democracy forming support TW”, “Co-maintaining world order”, and “U.S.-Taiwan friendship lasts forever”. (2/2)
