Hesitant to tweet stuff like this, but writing it down is a release. Today my dad was discharged from hospital having been clobbered by covid19. I can’t hug him for two weeks (the info is unclear so we’ll be cautious) but I can SEE him, and this afternoon brought big smiles.

Tried a handheld hyperlapse earlier today in Oxford. Shooting at 1/5s (with an ND filter) at 4s intervals. Got some funny looks and an ok end result. Still a lot of room for refinement, but good fun.

2/2 My date transferred them money and rang a taxi for them. The girls' phones died before the taxi arrived but they got home. This morning one of the girls, and later her mum, tracked down my date on social media to thank her. Both the gesture and the thanks have warmed my heart
