This morning I didn't know how to react to being nominated for a Golden Gnome so I made this.
Showcases a bit of my new tech I have been working on with this style, such as unique line work on the world geometry, unique bloom, faster work flow.

Second animation completed for Rendi.
The hardest part with this one was creating seamless transitioned between multiple styles. From runescape to blender is tricky and change the styles in blender is easily done with 2 identical projects. It was a lot of fun to work on.
Today was a big day.
Officially my last day as a high school teacher.
Officially my first day as a full time thumbnail artist, and animator.

The pitch for this one: We were at Warden's and its a tough fight. Then Steel Mage's character saves the day with their banker's note spam eating sharks.
I was super proud of how the tiles came out for this one.
So, what will my next video be? Lets just say I have been cooking up a little spicy animation that will be something truly special. The following are some VERY early WiP shots. Still lots to do. Yahoo!

This was an absolute pleasure to work on!
My favourite moment is the parry with the blob. The attack has so much weight to it. I love it. The opening match cut to the fight caves is pretty fun too.

Ever wondered what it is like to walk around varrock at night? The pubs, the clubs, it has it all. The place is wild. This animation took 11 hours to render and is a walking tour of varrock at night.

One plugin that really cheeses my onions is the animation smoothing plugin.
It completely ruins the timing and snappiness of some animations in my opinion. Looking at nightmare's ranged attack she clicks into place, with the smoothing she glides from pose to pose.
The knight asks "Do you think I will ever be able to slay a dragon and wear a rune platebody?"
"One day my friend... One day... But first, how about I trim that armour for you?" Replies the Wizard, with a seedy grin.

Recent animation I was commissioned to make for HuughesRS. In this piece, a HCIM get punched from GWD all the way back to Lumbridge. Literally! When he lands though... Something is different about him...
Recently had the pleasure of designing this stream starting soon screen for Madame Mage. My favourite part is 2 character that run all the way from the foreground to Falador. I honestly love making this kind of stuff in Blender.
I recently completed this animation for Coxie.
I had so much fun working on it!
The hardest part was getting the boat to move along the waves. The challenge was making the movement lag behind the waves in a believable manner. Since boats move not exactly in time with the wave.
Today, I made another little test animation with this aesthetic I have been working on. This time with short variety. Working this way with blender is really weird. Look at the flames on the candles :) But, ignore the unaligned one.

I recently had the pleasure of completing this animation for Solo Mission's Leagues series. It was a lot of fun to to work on and was my first time ever animating a person flying.
Recent animation completed for Theoatrix's 1-99 prayer guide. My favourite part is the GTA V loading screen transition at the end.
I wanted to try my best to make this entire piece one continuous shot, which was a fun exciting challenge.
I recently had the pleasure of making this fun little animation for Stoey.
We wanted to try something a bit different here. So, we went for a classic retro side scroller style. Putting this together in blender was quite challenging, as there is a heap of new things to consider.

My favorite part is the cross bow drawing shot. The most challenging part of this piece was to keep it short. This was a requirement of the job. It means jumping straight into the action! No establishing shots, no warm up.

I recently had the pleasure of completing this animation for Coxie. It was a lot of fun to work on! I got to experiment with some new animation techniques for the Whisperer, which can be seen in the timing of her motion.

I did a movement test today :D I know it is only 2 seconds but a lot of time went into it. I wanted to see if I could animate a character dashing between enemies. slicing them up. All of 2 seconds was put into animating the enemies. There is a back flip too.

Recently had the pleasure of putting together the intro for Theoatrix's 101 Runelite Tips guide.
My favourite shot is the one with the tiles and the chamber of xeric, however, I think the way I approached the runelite plugins being turned on was pretty cool too.
I always thought Runescape would make for an awesome setting for a card game. The combat triangle could implemented in a cool way featuring double damage to opposite card types! What do you think?

Recent animation completed for Rendi's Defence Saga.
A lot of spice was put into this one. A little Dragon Ball Z reference for the recoil firing off. An Attack on Titan reference for the Glod dodge. The hardest part was working out how someone turns into an egg.
I honestly cannot believe that I am in the running for best new artist. Thankyou to everyone and all your support over this last year. This absolutely could not have been done without you.

Recently had the pleasure of completing this animation for Rendi.
This was a challenging piece where I had to explore the death of a HCIM and show a massive amount of travel with a very short amount of time. It was a true challenge but very fun to work on.
Remastered an old animation for today.
Today we are taking on a variety of bosses, a bit of Vorkath, a bit of Muspah and if I am feeling confident I might even try my hand at some Nightmare. It is going to be a lot of fun.

This was a lot of fun to work on and deep into the lore of ToA.
My favorite shot is the one of Amascut, where the braziers light up. The market scene was fun too as it is always a unique challenge to make a densely populated area.

We made this one on stream as a long tutorial. It was a lot of fun and went over all the techniques used to create it. I look forward to doing it again some time.

My favorite shot is the final one where the is the character standing in front of the gates of Valhalla on top of a mountain.
Today we started progress on my next animation. I call it "A scenic walkthrough of Varrock at night" It contains over 30 actors, and literally grinds my computer to a halt as it chews up all of its RAM. Here is a little preview.

Recent animation completed for Rendi.
This one was a tough one. Juggling is a tough to animate. As a result, I went for a more cartoony style when animating and it paid off. The style of movements were inspired by anime like Yu-Gi-Oh season 1.
Recent animation completed for TPaPaSLICE. It has been super fun working with him on his HCIM series. It's been exciting working with the challenge of very short animations and trying to communicate the most exciting part of a fight in a short amount of time.
Pre-stream screen made for Madame Mage mid last year. I just realised I had never posted it. The coolest thing about this project was setting up the magic particles and the reflective wetness between the cracks of the ground.
