@sweatystartup Runescape was the best online by far when you were 10-15. Skills it taught: - Sales (free market) - Investing - Economy - English (if you don’t live in an English speaking country) - Hard work (literally grinding for months to get all the items) - Risk/reward (PvP)

@BrighamHughes You are a great guy Brigham, but there’s evil people in this world. He might just run away with it. I remember when I sold a Nintendo DS to a kid when I was like 12. The dad told me that they didn’t have any games, so I gifted them two Pokemon games to play in the meantime.

Google showing only 1 headline on ads is such BS. How am I supposed to sell what is being advertised + have a strong CTA in 30 characters? With 3 headlines you could easily do: Headline 1: Pain Point Headline 2: Description of product/service Headline 3: Strong/clear CTA

Landing pages are SO important. Hear me out: Campaign Example: Ad Spend → $20k/mo Conv. Rate → 3% Total Conv. Value → $30k/mo Just by doing some tweaks to the page you could increase your Conv. Rate from 3 to 5% 3% → $30k/mo 5% → $50k/mo Don't forget about your LPs.

Impatience KILLS Google Ads. You gotta let your changes RUN. Let your ad groups speak to you from a sizable amount of ad spend. If you just keep reacting and changing everyday, you will be running in circles forever.

Don't go overboard with your keywords in the ad copy. "Residential Cleaning Price" Yes, having your keywords in your keyword > ad copy > landing page usually increases QS and lowers CPC. BUT no one will buy from BS copy like that.

Snapchat Ads? Facebook Ads? Reddit Ads? In performance marketing, EVERYTHING comes down to net profits (after cost of acquisition costs). Money in vs. Money out. Impressions, clicks, and rates are just data metrics that lead you to make more sales.

Hot take: DO NOT put more than 15% of your budget on your Brand Campaigns. I get it, ROAS is higher and CPA is lower, BUT you are not acquiring new customers here. For a SaaS biz, you want to focus on your features/services campaign to acquire new customers (85%+ budget).
