The general public are not offended by Boris. They see the seething, frothing fury of the left stopping at nothing to try and deny them democracy. Bringing Jo Cox into their rhetoric yesterday was another low. We are watching and we are waiting.

Why in heck is nobody making the point that we grow fabulous fruit and veg here in the UK?! We should be eating seasonally, which not only supports our farmers, it also saves on food miles! They’re in Lincoln FFS; massive growing area! 🤷🏼♀️😩

That Marina woman has just said to
@Jacob_Rees_Mogg
that having a street called ‘Black Boy Lane’ is comparative to having a lane named ‘White Trash.’ I can’t decide whether she is genuinely stupid or just a disgraceful race-baiter. This is before she’s started on Brexit 😴
I’m glad
@LozzaFox
referred to the abhorrent grooming scandal but why is this not a question in itself? Fiona Bruce far too keen to revert back to talking about the woe of Meghan Markle 🙄Surely these girls deserve more than a passing comment?! 🥺

To the ‘Government of national unity’ enthusiasts, the ‘Bollocks to Brexit’ brigade, the ‘friend’ who took it upon herself to call me an idiot. Frankly, anyone who spent the last 4.5 years doing their best to stick one finger up to the people. We won. Democracy won 😊🇬🇧
I witnessed first hand our Border Force acting as a taxi service for illegal migrants in Dover this morning. This scandal continues and people have got every right to be angry about it.
Musing....
💫 The EU is essentially redundant
💫 The NHS will wake up to the fact that it’s been taken for granted for too long being used as a drop-in centre
💫 Jobs with ‘inclusivity’ and ‘diversity’ in the title will disappear
This is the most painful cancellation I have had yet. From someone I spent 10 happy years working with, many lovely family dinners and lots and lots of laughs. Someone I though was a friend.

I am a teacher. I am in complete disagreement with this horrendous decision. Give us cold, hard facts on the efficacy of masks before forcing this on young people again. It’s a dreadful hindrance to both teaching and learning.
The FBPE mob (intentionally NOT #) are particularly active today it would seem. Is it because they’ve finally realised that they can’t ‘stop Brexit’?! 😅 🎃 👻
Whatever happens today, I am certain that history will look back on this period as one of utter betrayal of the people. We had a voice, yet those that thought they knew better tried to silence it. The People versus the people they elect. We can only hope it goes in our favour.
When the Brexit negotiations got tough it was Dominic Raab who stood up for Britain, saying things Mrs May ‘would never say’ to

I’ll fix that for you: Any democracy where the government asks the people (who elect them) what they want and then refuse to implement it despite saying the very opposite is no longer a democracy.
@Anna_Soubry
No matter what time the good people of Broxtowe’s vote is revealed in the early hours, many of us will be wide awake to see you rightly voted out.
What’s with this ‘delivering for the 48%’ I’m sorry but had leave lost, would they be looking to deliver for them? It’s just not possible. This constant obsession with placating remainers was the undoing of May, it seems some of these Tories STILL don’t get it 🙄
Ann raises such an important point that seems to have been forgotten in all of this:
‘History isn’t just about medicine and science and fashion, it’s about the development of us, as human beings.’

I’m a local and I don’t share Rod’s Labour-voting tendencies, however he articulately expressed what many are thinking with regards to lockdown, masks and the economy. Bloody well-said Rod 🍻
Is it just me, or do those so keen for us to ‘bend the knee’ are the same people who told us we were so much more aligned to Europe rather than the USA, yet when the gilets jaunes were losing eyes and hands through police brutality said and did absolutely nothing...
This sort of arrogant attitude really baffles me. It’s not about identity, it’s about supporting British farmers who work bloody hard to supply our shelves with produce. Buying local means less food miles and benefits the local economy.
What is it with adverts and an obsession with choosing a great 80s track, replacing it with a piano and a sixth form student breathing the vocals over the top about 10x slower than the original?!
It’s becoming rather too common a theme where the home sec has to challenge the actions the day after rather than preventing them at the time. Not good enough.
This morning people across the country will be prevented from reading their newspaper because of the actions of Extinction Rebellion.
This attack on our free press, society and democracy is completely unacceptable.
Wearing the obligatory mask in a petrol station queue and some woman in front says, ‘you’re not two meters...can you move two meters away?’ Honestly. First time I’ve experienced this dire fear-induced state some people are living in. I did receive sympathetic eye rolls 😕
@Jeremy_Hunt
This obsession with placating everyone is just tiresome now, it was always going to be a win/lose scenario and the country will move on regardless. It will never satisfy everyone, so concentrate on delivering the result that the majority voted for. Although,

Thomas Markle stating ‘the British people aren’t racist’ has made me strangely emotional. We really aren’t; we welcomed Meghan into our lives with joy and enthusiasm-what a shame it’s turned out like this.

yet again refusing to accept the result of the 2016 referendum by using his ‘deep divisions’ line. What a total fraud. These people need to move on-it’s them that divide us by being so bloody pig headed and undemocratic.

It’s becoming more and more apparent that those that do not wish to leave the EU without a deal, simply do not wish to leave the EU at all. It’s a very convenient get-out clause....

This is a guy who has listened to his people. He has heard their concerns and is representing them unlike any other politician in Europe. You only have to look at Macron who typifies the elite and the relationship he now has with the electorate. Change is coming.
@AmberRuddHR
Hmm. I’d suggest you’re rattled, love. You were the one misleading the public when you stood on a manifesto you had no intention of delivering. I genuinely can’t wait until you lose your seat.
I 'liked' tweets today that were offensive in nature about the use of the British flag as a backdrop in a government interview this morning.
I have since removed these 'likes'.
This do not represent the views of me or the BBC.
I apologise for any offence taken.

This constant blaming of the government is simply not fair. Horrendous situation, but there are many care homes who took precautions early on and in some cases moved the entire staff in to ensure residents were protected. Individual establishments need to take responsibility.

I’m so incensed listening to this. Poor, poor Nick. He deserves so much better. We all deserve so much better. What the hell is going on here? Why are doctors refusing to do their job properly?
