@DrCCedillo @FieroTravis As a Mayan descendent, I can attest that language, traditions, even the people are still around today. In El Salvador, they are integrated with the Spanish culture. I even visited a mountain town where a huge population of Pipil live and operate.

The whole Sator situation is just sad. Instead of apologizing for jumping to conclusions, they decide to cower and deactivate. It’s disappointing. Do they deserve hate? No. Do they deserve to be misgendered? Hell no. I know it is hard to admit when we are wrong, just apologize.

Instead of meeting halfway, which could have started that true road of recovery, she would rather stay in anger mode and move on without the one family member who still cares for her. It’s something seen in addicts and it’s why we feel that raw emotion. (4/5)

This! Let’s be honest, when it comes to stories about SA involving men, it’s always done as a complete joke and to see a show take it as a serious topic is important. It shows that SA survivors can be any gender and they all go through the trauma in different or similar ways.

Angel Dust’s story might be one of the 1st times I’ve seen SA of a male character (or any character for that matter) being taken seriously. Not “for laughs” or some stupid joke, but showing the aftermath and the trauma of abuse, and that it doesn’t go away.
