@Munmun_Princess I feel you, I went through a long period of mourning because I relied on Critical Role for cleaning my room, background audio for art, a ton of things! The sounds of their voices and banter was so comforting. C2 got me through one of the worst times of my life.

I didn’t have arthritis, just malnourishment combined with repetitive strain injuries, but honestly don’t listen to your asian parents when they call you weak and try to stop you from seeking help. Shit’s abusive. Ignore them and reach out to whatever resources you have!

when I was a freshman, I was shocked to discover I never got the emails for the MANDATORY comics dept. meetings. I was told that Woodruff deliberately made sure honors program students got none of those emails because "he didn't like us." Nothing was done about it til he left.

What makes it worse is sometimes I’d buy from them thinking I’m supporting an AAPI artist. This is why I agree with the ”put your race in your bio” thing. & if you’re a white person making Asian-themed merch, you’re basically capitalizing off a culture that is not your own.

@tphottie It was said on an informational Zoom, and many people were there. I was not the only person who heard it, and I know exactly who said it and have a transcription of the what they said. I am a known organizer in my own community in NY which is frankly who I tweeted this to.

@DisconnectedLa1 @TweetUnPro @explodikid Original backgrounds take a longer time and lots more labor because one must find references, combine them in a way that fits the style of the comic, and then render it at several dynamic angles. People working on heavy deadlines simply do not have time.
