I tell people if they bang their heads for 30mins, they should probably go ahead and reach out.
The beauty of asking for help - is often a trigger to enlightenment. The act of asking, often gives the answer.
I bet you've not see this before, but I also bet you could totally use it today to fix some serious performance problems in your production apps.

This tip sounds silly, but seriously...
Don't run queries with hundreds of columns. You're wasting server time, network bandwidth, and then you're taking your client UI and YOUR eyes to deal with that information.
Query just the 5 or 6 columns you need.
