Christians on here can be so judgmental. Yes, we need to not tolerate sin. However, there is freedom of conscience on stuff not explicitly stated to be sin. Always examine the speck in one's own eye first. If you must, address things privately. Always remain humble.

I get a little sick of the "empathy is a sin" brand of Christian thought. It is true that we aren't to excuse sin. However, we are to remember what God saves us from. This should give us some compassion on those still lost in sin.

On a Christian chat I moderate, I had to ban a guy the other day. The guy had two accounts: a Protestant and an Orthodox sockpuppet account. He'd argue with himself to stir up partisan hatred. Don't fall for this schtick. It's demonic, and I don't use this term lightly.

I will say--purity culture is real and very destructive. Biblical sexual ethics are great. Sex only in marriage. Purity culture--the attitude that sex is predatory and shameful--is not great. It's like woke-ism, teaching people to hate themselves.

"Mental health" isn't real. There is neurological health (brain) and spiritual health (soul). But there isn't this nebulous middle ground between the two. So certain things like schizophrenia are indeed neurological, but most "mental health" problems are really spiritual

This applies beyond the context of furries, in my experience. People who are actually good are honest. They aren't trying to force you to perceive them as nice. They don't have to be as cynical as green fur down here, but they deal in reality. They don't cast illusions.

Often people ask me why I identify as a furry as a Christian. To me, it feels easier and more congruent with reality to just say I'm a SFW furry than to try to make some new category. I've learned to put a high premium on honesty to myself, even if there's apparent tension.
