What an amazing feeling to be warmly welcoming home our nationals who were evacuated from Ukraine. It’s been a long arduous journey but all is well that ends well.

On this Christmas Day, we are down in Southern Province, Mbabala area, conducting an assessment of the scale of damage on property, lives and livelihoods due to floods. We are also providing non-food and food relief supplies.
Functional drain in one of Lusaka’s neighbourhoods.
The community has taken it upon itself to ensure the the drain isn’t filled with solid waste and debris.
Disaster Management is the responsibility of everyone. Community’s too have a crucial role to play.

From my previous life as an academic and researcher, I learnt to leverage on criticism, good or bad. In fact, when I presented my work for peer review, I understood very well that criticism was essential, it served to help me refine my ideas.
