Just like with Lukaku and Fellaini before him, you can't expect any more of players like Richarlison if they give 4-5 years to Everton and then leave when Champions League clubs come calling and we haven't matched that ambition. I wish him well. He stood up when we needed him.

I've never been so positive after a loss. You can see the structure of a team at last and that's all we've needed for six years for the supporters to get behind. The unity of the supporters has stuck after last season too which I was worried about going into a new season.

Dwight McNeil is a young player at a new club playing in a new formation and with no effective centre forward to play off. Don't turn him into the whipping boy. He will come good. I've seen players like Baines, Fellaini and now Iwobi not settle in immediately but then gel.

Everton went over the loss limit by £19.5m mainly due to stadium spending and got a 10 point deduction. All whilst selling our best players. Forest went over by £34.5m after buying 40+ players in one season. What even is the point of us watching football any more? It’s rigged.

Capital debt is being paid by EFC. Council's role is to facilitate access to the lower interest loans. LCC pays nothing and earns £3m a year from EFC. North Liverpool regeneration accelerated by new stadium also. People's issue is they support LFC and the council is helping EFC.

When Moshiri bought Everton we were easily the 7th most robust brand in the Premier League with a healthy balance sheet and a massive upside potential if cash was injected smartly. Even with all those advantages over others, he and Kenwright have still run the club into meltdown.

VAR isn't the problem it's the picking and choosing of how to use it. Deulofeu is denied a clear cut penalty last week because they don't want to overrule the referee. This week it overrules the referee for minimal contact as the ball is going out of play. No consistency.
