I was drawn towards Gift by her beautiful smile. I approached her and she allowed me photograph her but she begged me not to upload on social media, that led to the start of our conversation.

From Kano with love,
I’m currently doing an active study about the people, lifestyle and sights of Kano through my lens. One thing I’ve learnt in few hours here is that the temperature is high and environment is dusty.

For documentary photographers, after Instagram likes and comments, what else? I’ll suggest you finish that body of work first, then
1. Pitch to editors.
2. Exhibit your work.
3. Publish a book.
4. You can now post 1/2 images that will direct people to your website on Instagram.

Women and culture 02!
Excerpt from Olojo festival. There's something baffling among women, their uniqueness not to mention their fierceness and tenacity when dealing with issues.

In celebration of my 23rd birthday which is on May 16, I will be selling 1/1 of these 23 nfts. 23% will go towards giving back to the society and making people delighted, this will be well documented.
This is so dear to me, support 😊💯
What attracted me to Gift was the colors of the ballon she was carrying, the colors lifted my mood. I had a quick chat as I was curious why she was selling a festive one at this time of the year. She smiled all through, I just had to buy some ballon too.

It’s no news that the majority of states in Nigeria have been flooded, but I have a lot of questions. Do you even know how the affected people survive? They need intervention! Want to help? Send a DM.

Niamey takes holiday seriously. I took a walk this evening, it was peaceful and calm. Niamey reminds me of Northern Nigeria, life here is actually simple. This city is dominated with bikes just like Kano.
