Said goodbye to the 🐐 Kev today. 😢 Seeing him everyday for 2 years I’ve never seen him in a bad mood. No one has given me more advice / lessons in my time here. He always says “there are no bad days” and I hope I can enjoy life the way he does as I get older. S/O to a real 1.

Really happy for our players. Picked last, started 0-8 and didn’t have much to be optimistic about. But they kept showing up and kept finding ways to get better everyday in the gym. The game rewards toughness, and that has been evident with these guys the past couple months.

My Grandad turned 83 yesterday and has way too much swag. Oh, that’s Arnold Palmer in that picture with him too. 60 year PGA professional and still works 5/6 days a week. My first boss, greatest mentor, and the person I try to emulate the most, salute to the legend. 🐐

HUGE S/O to my brother @PeteSmith_30 He picked us up big time last night. He drew up multiple adjustments in timeouts that led directly to buckets and had every adjustment we needed to stay alive and have a chance to win. He’s a fantastic coach and we’re so lucky to have him!

Things that matter besides the obvious faith/family/academics... 1. Program success. 2. Relationship with teammates / coaching staff. 3. Getting better everyday. Anything outside of that bubble may seem like it matters, but a few years down the road it won’t mean a thing.
