CW: suicide
A poem from my first chap, which attempts to honor the life of my mother’s father, whom I never met and who died by suicide 63 years ago today.
I’m feeling this in my heart now & want to say it: the number of people I’ve met on here who’ve inspired me with their art & who’ve made me feel seen & loved—it’s just incredible. To share art, poetry, & words with you—& to connect through loss—is truly a great honor of my life.
