if shows ever come back, i think that DIY should move out of gentrified neighborhoods, suburban basements, and warehouses. we should instead invade the newly emptied office headquarters of our cities’ corporate centers. have 👏🏽 more 👏🏽 shows 👏🏽 in 👏🏽 boardrooms

best part of this is that you can only have 10k songs in your "Library" but each of your playlists can have 10k songs in them...almost seems like Spotify is violently trying to change the way we listen to music to suit them better

it's not talked about enough how promoters and bookers use sp*tify monthly listeners as a metric for who to offer nights when that app was specifically designed for background listening and often has little to no correlation with how many people buy tickets to see your show

Luna, the cat I lived with for 5 years with my roommates in Oakland, has passed. He somehow loomed larger in our hearts than he did in person, which is impressive considering his size. I can't believe he will never attempt to disembowel my arm ever again. Long live Luna <3
