It's embarrassing but my current living situation is on a dining room floor, so I'd appreciate if anyone could help me out!
I also have a ko-fi:
Thank you 💜
‼️ Hey guys, I need help raising funds for a deposit on an apartment so that myself and my kitty Pippin aren't homeless!
I'll be opening art commissions very soon as well!
Counterpoint, give Gale a glock
Imagine he gets continuously counterspelled or silenced so he just fuckin pulls out a glock like "counterspell this, asshole"
Minsc literally said "back home we hide weave-touched little boys from Mystra" when talking about Gale and people still are trying to argue that Mystra isn't a huge creep in all this
Seeing Tim Downie on tiktok just talking about books and folklore I am convinced that there wasn't actually a script for Gale and they just let Tim just say and do whatever
Ngl something that is unfortunately incredibly relatable about Gale to me is how he uses humour and a bubbly exterior to mask his depression and passive suicidality where if you're not paying attention or haven't been through something similar, you won't really pick up on it.
Literally though, when I romanced Gale and he expressed how he wanted to tear town the divide between god and mortal so that no god can ever just use and discard people etc ever again, that reminded me how Astarion wanted to ascend so that no one could control him ever again
The fact that people only associate bards with sex is such a waste of potential because bards are just roguish wizards who excel in being fuckin bonkers
People will claim they love RPGs but then get upset that there are choices that have consequences they don't like.
But then these same people will get mad if an RPG only has the illusion of consequence and say they want their choices to matter.
Which is it, bestie?
People thinking that people saying a screenshot of Tim and Neil is shipping the actors and not the characters must be new to TTRPG stream space because they're acting! They're rollplaying their characters!
No one is shipping the actors here, that's weird.
Ngl I do love the idea of post-campaign Gale doing as much research on curing vampirism as he can so that Astarion can live out a normal life
Gale not only thirsts for knowledge but he's the type to go above and beyond for the ones he loves
Astarion: Gale! Watch this!
Gale, not looking up from his book: That's lovely, dear.
Astarion: You're not even watching!
Gale, looking up at Astarion: That's lovely, dear.
Dragon Age Origins doesn't have janky combat, it's just more DnD inspired and I'll die on this hill
The Origins combat is GOOD even if it's not your personal taste
I love that based on dialogue with Gale that it's heavily implied he *does* have a cat, but that cat isn't Tara. Tara is a tressym as sees her as a friend, not a pet. I like to this Mama Dakarios is cat-sitting for him rn
Wild how people tried to argue with me that Gale saying that Mystra took interest in Gale "at a young age" meant a young adult. Literally no one says "at a young age" without meaning as a child like headcanon what you want but don't pretend that that's not what it means
Gale's tower in Waterdeep absolutely has a magic elevator of teleportation circles
You think this man could manage going up and down several flights of stairs with those knees?
No but there's something about the narrator saying "You are safe" when you do that initial romance with Gale as Astarion that just Hits Different because of everything he's been through
That fuckin video of Gale failing a stealth roll and just flopping down on the floor dramatically is so funny I'm trying to stop myself cackling bc it's not even 8am yet FDGSDG
Dragon Age 4 with origin stories based on factions instead of races is such a cool idea.
So you choose your race within a faction like Grey Warden, Antivan Crow, Siccari, etc.
The DA fandom obsession with treating mage rights as being as real as irl activism is wild because I remember having to make so many disclaimers when I first did a DA2 playthrough where I sided with the Templars
It's not that deep man I was just curious and wanted the achievement
