Boulder, CO has 99% of >65 vaxed, and 82% of >12 vaxed. They just reimposed an indoor mask mandate regardless of vax status, and stated that mask mandates will be a permanent tool for when case rates meet the CDC definition of substantial or high transmission in the future. Nice!

Sent kid to sleep away camp. Camp requires everyone to be fully vaccinated. All campers required to rapid test before getting on the bus to camp, wear masks on the bus, and were rapid tested again the day after arrival. Now 1 week in and 10 campers have tested + for Covid. 🤓

I care because: 1. Every masked person contributes to the normalization of mask wearing, which means college students, service workers, etc. are STILL being forced to wear them; and 2. masked adults send a message to impressionable kids that people are dangerous. That’s why.

@sarahbeth345 I took my wife to ObGyn last year. We had masks on in the exam room (practice required it.) Doc came in; older guy, a bit crusty. No mask. He immediately said to my wife, “Please take that off [the mask] so we can talk to each other.” That’s a good doctor.
