Does anyone know why the last southbound weekday Amtrak train leaves Philly at 9:30pm? If I recall there used to be Regionals leaving NYP after midnight. I feel like Amtrak's lack of schedules makes it harder to notice service cuts.

The Strategic Rail Corridor Network or STRACNET is the never discussed reason that high level platforms are so problematic. The military has clearance requirements and they can call the FRA and kibosh any corridor plan that might interfere. 1/2
