Dear
@MarcusRashford
, you've inspired our children in year 3 to fight for what they believe in and reach for the stars. You have taught them courage and appreciation. As a token of our appreciation, the year 3's wrote thank you letters. We stand with you 🙌
Year 4 have set off for their residential trip and excitement is in the air. We have arrived at the Gordon Brown Centre (or as one of the children called it, Gordon Ramsay Centre - let’s hope the food is as good as his!)

Year 3 have arrived at
@Celtic_Harmony
Camp and the Bear Tribe have already started gathering and cooking just like they would have in the Stone Age! 🌿🍄
Y6 were asked to come dressed in their PJs today but weren’t entirely sure why...until we handed them their train tickets and got together in the hall for a viewing of Polar Express, complete with hot chocolate and marshmallows!

Special delivery from Buckingham Palace! One of our pupils, Zion from Year 5 won a competition in connection with the King's Coronation and has been invited to a presentation at the Palace, as well as a tour of the state rooms with his parents and Miss Clarke!👑🎨😄

Today marks the end of an amazing journey at St Joseph's for our Year 6 students and some staff members moving on to new adventures. We wish them all the best 🎉🎉🎉
Today, St Joseph's participated in a traditional Irish pastime - playing the bodhrán. This was in light of the month-long Irish heritage programme run by
@IslingtonMayor
partnered with
@LDNIrishCentre
!
The pupils (and staff), thoroughly enjoyed this enriching opportunity! 🎵🥁
What a fantastic trip. Thank you Lord for getting us home safe. Thank you Mrs.Blake and Miss.Elliott for coming with us and taking such good care of all our year 4s.

So proud of our year 5 and 6 children, who won the Islington Athletics tournament!😊They will now go on to represent Islington at the London school games!👍😊
That’s a wrap! Gordon Brown has been a magnificent adventure with lots of fun, activities, team building, animals, friendships, laughter and memories to last a lifetime! 💚💙
We have finished the night with hot chocolate and the children are now getting tucked up into bed. We can’t wait for a long and peaceful nights sleep... or are we asking for too much? Either way we’re off to bed! Night all. We will continue to update throughout the day tomorrow.
Leaving mainland England for the long voyage across the Solent. Maybe some ice creams will help pass the time! I'm sure that's what they did on HMS Victory ...
Year 5 took part in an informative workshop from
@PentonStreetCML
this morning. They learnt about the Anti-Apartheid Movement and how they can be part of the change they want to see in the world. Thank you for inspiring us all! 💪
