They don't see us. They only see whether or not we are useful to them. So they dismiss BWs lived experiences as irrelevant. They only care how what BW say "makes them look."

Spike Lee saw The Color Purple, a movie about a Black woman who is r*aped/abused by her father, starring and executive produced by Oprah, a Black woman who had been sexually assaulted by family members. And he said "Heeyyyy the way these men are being portrayed isn't fair!!!" 🙄
