today I learned that several offices at @LifeAtPurdue aren't sharing data related to diversity and equity that is necessary for other folks to do their jobs. this is why I don't believe universities will ever act unless they are forced to.

Purdue is pausing the use of the diversity essay in graduate student admission pending a review. since essays were a clear, acceptable mechanism per SCOTUS, the review should be short. let's hope they do not weaponize this decision to decrease diverse student #
