Don't play this at Worlds (unless you wanna win 🤫😅) It's a hard deck for sure. If u play it very well u can defeat any meta deck (drago, lugia, Gardy, blocklax, miraidon, zard) & it have answers against other decks You can control or make come backs. And yes, it's very fun!

Another good Control option rn is Ursaluna. With Charizard being BDIF, you can use bear with mist energy + lux cape to get a big 280hp ursa immune to Devolution. That enables a lot of options with Peat Hunt. One of them, the Chandelure loop. Just peat hunt candy turo every turn

In the elitism discuss, dont forget: the "elite" doesnt care about Worlds or IC/regios per se, they just look for money and that's all I remember that interview when Azul said "I dont have a fav pokémon, I only play PTCG" They dont care the game, the Community, etc. Just money

The best part of charizard ex being the BDIF is they cant hit +180 if u dont take prizes 👀 so many Control Options! Dudun with cape is a 240hp. Deck out yourself, shuffle 1 dun&dudun into the deck, leave a cape dudun in active. Pass. Next, Run Away draw the active and repeat

At locals, they're running GLC tournaments, same rules but from SV (grey border). No ban list yet. And I cooked this colorless control list, and it's pretty good! It's an interesting format for sure, with limitations ofc (e.g. Dragon) but it's fun! I wanna explore more ideas

One of my favs loop with chari control is cape fish leki penny -Discard top 2 cards with cape fish, then Penny (if they hit fish); cape leki for pal pad/Penny and repeat With a lot of zard, they cant OHKO them even with maximum belt! (discard their vac with lux/eri/MFS first)

Tried a fun concept tonight of Boom Boom Control! Still focussed on resolving the Ursaluna Loop in the late game but it was a little trickier with this engine! Being able to search 2-3 cards a turn was still broken and I’d love other control players to try and break this deck! 😁

As a gardy player: -If u r expecting a lot of Iron Hands ex, play the T2 TM Evo version -If u expect an irrelevant amount of Iron hands ex, play the current scream tail version -If there are a lot of control/stall/blocklax players, play Turo -ALWAYS 4 BATTLE VIP PASS AND MEW

Turbo Gigas Manage opponent prizes with claydoll and forretress ex until 1 prizes left. Then Avery + yoga loop (3 pokémon in play) Next turn, Iono to 1, Star Guardian and KO the active. Opponent with 1 card in hand and 1 pokémon in play. That should be enough to win next turn

A great combo with Chari Control is that you can Power up bouff in 1 turn, givin u a good chance against decks with few/specific energies. And in combination with Eri, you can discard rods or mirage gates! Very powerfull tbh
