I was very brave tonight. I walked into my daughters place of work, hugged and kissed her, told her I loved her and I wished her a Merry Christmas then left. So hard but I did it. It has been 8 months since I have last seen her.

I had a mammogram. It showed there was a big lightness on my left boob. They then did an ultra sound which showed it was a big cyst! They usually leave them but cause it was so big they removed it there and then. Yayyyy!!!! 6 weeks of unnecessary worry! I am elated!!!! ❤ ❤❤

I'm going to babysit my Dad tomorrow as my 80 year old mum is doing the polling Station for 12 hours 😱 Its her favourite thing to do. I'm going to give him the best day ever!!! He won't remember it afterwards but I will, I will treasure our day together. #dementia

I took Dad to the Memory Clinic today. We laughed and joked, chatted and he held my arm and smiled. It was a wonderful day. Just my Dad and I. He had forgotten where we had been only 5 hours later. But I remind myself its not just his memories. They are mine too, to treasure❤
