I hope local politicians take note of how well the guidelines were adhered to at Windsor today. This was taken right before kickoff. I've not seen any other outdoor environments being managed so well. There really is no reason to prevent fans attending games
@OfficialBlues
Glad to see the club have now put out a statement confirming Scott and Robertson have left the club. The club deserve credit for taking a strong stance - these guys are meant to be role models. Done now and we move on ๐
I'll donate ยฃ10 to
@nichildrenshosp
if
@Andy_Waterworth
drops into his commentary during tonight's game that if Glentoran win it'll be their 23rd Irish Cup success, something that
@OfficialBlues
did in 1946 ๐๐โฝ. RT if you'll so the same and
@BBCSPORTNI
can pass it on
That could be a massive week in this title race as we come away with the full 9 points. Thought we were great in the first half hour, then it evened up and Crues shaded the 2nd half but we kept going and nicked the winner in injury time. That's the sort of win builds belief ๐
That was one of the easiest Big One games I've seen in a long time. We were on top from the first whistle and should have scored more. Scum look really poor so long live King Mick
Wish Jordan Stewart and
@Clarkey_52
all the very best for the next chapters in their career. Both have had wonderful careers at Windsor and will always be welcomed back. Not the ending either of them would have wanted or deserved but their place in Linfield history is set ๐
@markjmcintosh
Everyone needs to stop being so offended. At this rate we'll have no-one playing anymore as everyone has said something or been in the company of someone that has said something that could be deemed offensive. Time to accept that people have opinions we won't all agree with
And while I'm moaning can someone knock some sense into Blue Unity. Fed up listening to some of the non-linfield songs and throwing stuff on to the pitch. Time they wound it in before it costs us more than money
What is it with Linfield GMs and summer football. Both Pat and David in press interviews this week saying it should happen. It needs clearly stated that when they speak it is only their personal opinion - even better don't give personal opinions when speaking as Linfield GM
That was a massive 3 points tonight. Bit of pressure on the teams playing tomorrow now. We look more solid with Casement, Quinn and Haughey back in defence. Cooper, Stewart and Millar back together is helping too. Waterworth scoring goals again too
I didn't post after last night's game as I didn't want to say anything in the heat of the moment or be seen as reacting to one defeat by the scum but having spoken to quite a few people it is clear that the vast majority of fans have had enough of the current state of the club
Absolutely gutted. Just didn't take our chances despite a great performance. When will we have as good an opportunity to qualify for group stages? We need to turn tonight's hurt into the motivation to drive us on to number 57
That's another massive win for us tonight. Back into it which didn't look likely a month ago. Just need to keep our heads down and work away and see where we are by the time the new year comes round
That was a hard fought three points in tough conditions but credit to the players for battling through. Another good goal from Chris McKee but my MOTM was Kyle McClean who never stopped
If that isn't a signal to our board and manager how much we need to invest in proper attacking options I give up. Manzinga only looked half interested at times and we had no option to replace him with. Players behind him didn't create enough or get into the box often enough
That was much more like it. Credit to the manager as the formation worked. Playing 2 up front and getting the midfielders up in support made such a difference. McGee had a great second half but Kyle McClean was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch
Credit where it is due - well done to
@larnefc
. Up against it tonight going behind and then down to 10 men but had the character to see it through. When Bruce invested I don't think any of us expected it to go like this. Enjoy your European adventure!!
Good to see Coleraine have let fans in tonight as planned. Other IL clubs should be thinking of taking the guidance under consideration and then ignoring it too
Another 3 points on the board. Need to keep the heads down and work hard and build on the momentum we're building. Roll on Larne at Windsor on Tuesday night
Not the way you want to win the league but given some of the underhand tactics employed by the scum and Larne over the last few weeks I'm going to enjoy it more than I thought I would. The sun might rise in the East but it has definitely come down in the South, again ๐๐๐
Great result for Coleraine. Fair dues going out to Slovenia, lasting 120 minutes and holding their nerve to win on penalties. Also a great result for Motherwell ๐
Another great three points tonight. That is a fantastic run over the festive period getting 10 points out of 12. Showing a bit of fight which is brilliant to see ๐
Unfortunately we weren't good enough today and didn't deserve to win. Again we failed to hold a lead and offered next to nothing going forward. If the manager is still there next season he needs to have a serious look at his tactical failure and fix it
There aren't enough words to describe the impact
@mulgrew22
has had in our club and his contribution to the success over the last 15 years. Fantastic achievement to reach 700 appearances and hopefully many more to come ๐
Congratulations to the team on securing 2nd place and European qualification.Hopefully they get a night out tonight and a rest over the next few weeks before the focus turns to next season where we need to see a massive improvement. Decisions to be made on contracts and transfers
Fantastic signing. Joel is pure quality. Credit to everyone at the club for getting this over the line. I'm sure there are a few disappointed people in East Antrim and East Belfast but money doesn't always talk ๐
Fantastic to see Mental Mick so bitter about us getting the title on the BBC programme this evening. It is now our fault that Institute got relegated. The scum are showing themselves up for what they really are and I hope our club and players remember that next season ๐
A lot of people at Windsor need to take a long hard look at themselves. Tonight summed our season up. So negative. Didn't look at any stage like we really wanted to kill the game off. Instead sat back and invited them on. Its not good enough
Congratulations to
@Clarkey_52
on his 300th appearance for the Blues today. Always gives 100% when he pulls the jersey on and hopefully many more to come ๐
A decent performance and a decent game. Not to be tonight but it wasn't tonight that cost us the league. Wish we had played more games this season on the front foot like we started tonight ๐
Congratulations to
@21_millar
who makes his 300th appearance for the Blues tonight. Doesn't get anywhere near the credit he deserves having been an integral part of our team for the last lot of years. Here's hoping there are many more assists to come ๐
I don't know what Chris is on, what he has been offered or I what he has asked for. What I do know is that our manager should not be conducting negotiations in public like this in the Tele. It is really unprofessional and not the Linfield way. I hope he gets pulled on it
Another shambles of a performance and then a moment of magic from Kirk gets us the three points. We need to kick on after that. No more 3 at the back. Need to be much quicker attacking and not let other teams get so organised
Yet again we got what we deserved tonight. Awful performance. For a team that needed the win we waited until the final 10 minutes to give it a go. Passing poor throughout and we hardly won a second ball
Thought Newberry and Palmer both looked comfortable on the ball and good distribution from both. Special mention though to Mark Stafford who came in and as always didn't let us down. His block when we were 1:0 up prevented an equaliser at a crucial point of the game
SSS MOTM is Conor Pepper. Looks really solid defensively and never stops trying to push up the line too.
Thought Kyle McClean had a really good game too
Another really good 3 points today. Referee and his team should be embarrassed to pick up their wages after that display. Got so many basic decisions wrong
Absolutely ridiculous that
@OfficialBlues
require us to make an additional trip to Windsor to get a ticket for next Tuesday nights game. There is no reason why tickets can't be sold at Saturday's game. The powers that be take us for granted and make it hard to follow the team

Hard fought win tonight. Ballymena were well organised at the back and created a couple of decent chances so glad to get the 3 points. Now to keep the fingers crossed the clowns at Stormont don't do anything stupid tomorrow and ruin next Monday
Nerves kicked in for anyone else?? We are still massive underdogs even after last week's result but we are only 90 minutes away from the Europa League group stages!! I reckon we will score tonight so just need to work hard and have a bit of luck.

Congratulations to
@larnefc
on winning the league. Best team over the course of the season always wins the league and they deserve it this year. They have progressed year on year since
@kennybpb
came in and are now the level the rest of us need to be striving for.
@curtis_allen
@woodvaleblue
Mid-table Mick showing his true colours now Curtis. "We're all in it together." "Sporting integrity." Just sound bites when it suited him. If you're lucky he might be on the drink tonight and you'll get a reply about 11pm ๐คก
Tonight was a complete shambles on and off the pitch. Firstly Blue Puberty and their antics of flares and song choices. You are not wanted by the vast majority of Linfield fans. You are costing us money and likely causing us to miss games. Don't come back!!
Have to say I like the look of Cammy Palmer. Constantly showing for the ball and playing nice simple balls to link defence to attack. Just what we need as it's much better than hoofing it long and bypassing the midfield
Welcome to the champions Kyle ๐ It'll be interesting to see how this one goes. Will definitely create a bit of a buzz at Windsor on Saturday. I just hope McDaid, McKee and Devine are managed properly and this doesn't do them harm cos we're going to need them too
That was more like it today. Everyone worked hard and we presses much better. Special mention for Salam who I thought did really well before tiring. Need to use that as a springboard and push on now
Fantastic statement by the club. About time we stopped bending over backwards for people that don't care about the club or the consequences of their behaviour. They've been talked to and financially backed by the club in the past. That didn't work
That's a big, big result today. Had to dig deep and fight for it but deserved the three points. Great goal from Fallon to win it. Great save from John's near the end to secure it
Given the amount of dud strikers that we have signed over the last number of seasons it would be a real shame to lose Chris McKee. I really hope Chris and the club can come to an agreement. Club need to offer a fair wage and Chris needs to be realistic ๐
Belfast Telegraph reporting that Chris McKee looks to be on his way out when his Linfield contract expires at the end of the season.
It would be disappointing to lose a promising young striker - they're hard to come by, and he's one of our own.
โI enjoy that side of it. I enjoy it when tackles are flying, elbows are flying, I enjoy the physical aspect of the game.'
If that is true
@Fudzer
then why do you gurn like a wee girl every time someone tackles you?
I hope our team are taking note of how physical H&W are being against Larne tonight and pressing them from deep in the Larne half. That's what we need to do next Tue and not stand off and let them settle
@StevenBeacom5
@ViaplaySportsUK
He is 100% right. The suits in the IFA don't care about the football. They're happy to fleece the fans at every opportunity but don't invest it back in again. As long as they get their benefits they are happy
Delighted with this. A fantastic player that has settled back in after returning from a long term injury. Just gets on with his game in a quiet efficient manner
The legend just keeps going. He has been written off regularly but his displays this season show what Jamie gives us. Can still grab a game by the scruff and drag us on. Well deserved ๐

Going by the boos at the final whistle at the Oval mid-table Mick will be begging for fans to be banned from grounds in his post-match press conference. At least he has Jay Donnelly in the changing room if he needs a wee cuddle
Miracles still happen. After Tiny Tim and Mad Mick's analysis of a leg-breaking, career-ending assault in Coleraine last weekend Mcmenamin is back this weekend. Ends up he was out for a shorter time than a Linfield keeper with a sprained thumb ๐
That could be a massive, massive win. Bossed the first half and then struggled in the second half. If you'd said at the start of the season that we'd have 4 games at Windsor and if we win all 4 we'd win the treble I'd have bitten your arm off. Roll on Tuesday night ๐
We need to grow a set when we play against the top 6 teams. Far too soft and too easy to play against. Why do we not just go 442 and have a go at teams?

BREAKING: Joel Cooper will join Linfield on loan from Oxford United until the end of the season. He will return to the League One side after that. Cooper is a brilliant player, a title winner with Linfield, a big hero to the fans and is a cracking signing for David Healy's team
What's the chances mid-table Mick is currently on the phone with the Sunday Life asking for a double spread all about him and his 'only logical conclusion' that the season be voided immediately before Linfield have a chance to move 20 points clear of the scum?
