When we lose our patience with ppl pretending to reconnect or who behave like new ndns, lol, let us remember reconnecting is a good thing. Bringing home our relatives is a victory, especially those who are Black and/or displaced. Sharing space is not space being stolen. 💖

Such a colonial mindset. We’ve never been houseless on our lands before colonization. That’s thousands and thousands of years that we housed ourselves with the land as our relative a reciprocal relationship. This “permanent” notion throws me.

Someone told me you will never get your pre-baby body back and that’s not even what you should strive for. You should strive to be healthy and feel good about how you look if anything, but your mother body isn’t wrong or ugly in any means.
